Fr. Fuentes and Professor Walsh Interviews with Sr. Lucia - Could it have given clues to AI (Communism)?

Greetings in Jesus and Mary...

We are in the fourth day of our Novena to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I have included an image of the vision of hell because on July 13, 1917....Our Lady showed the children Hell....which proves it is a true reality.

Today, I wish to talk about a threat of Communism that seems to surpass the evils of communism experienced so far in all of history  which was referenced in the interview of Sr. Lucia by Professor Walsh in 1946 and Fr. Fuentes in 1957.

On July 15, 1946, Catholic historian and author William Thomas Walsh conducted a landmark three-hour interview with Sister Lucia, the last surviving visionary of Fatima, at her convent in Vilar, Portugal. This historic conversation was subsequently published in his 1947 book, Our Lady of Fatima.

The interview covered critical aspects of the Fatima apparitions, most notably the conditions required for world peace.

The key takeaways from the discussion include:

  • The Consecration of Russia: Sister Lucia clarified that Pope Pius XII's 1942 consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary was not entirely satisfactory. She emphasized that Our Lady specifically requested the consecration of Russia in union with all the Catholic bishops of the world.
  • The Spread of Communism: When Professor Walsh asked if "every country, without exception, will be overcome by Communism" based on Russia's errors, Sister Lucia answered simply, "Yes".
  • Visual Descriptions: She provided intimate details about the apparitions, describing the Angel of Peace as having a supernatural presence and Our Lady as a figure made entirely of light.

In her famous 1957 interview with Fr. Agustín Fuentes, Sister Lucia warned that without prayer and penance, the errors of Russia—meaning Communism—would spread and overtake every country without exception, causing severe persecution of the Church, the Pope, and loss of faith worldwide.

She outlined how the spread of Communism would unfold and affect the world:

  • Global Takeover: Fr. Fuentes asked Sister Lucia if this meant every country, without exception, would be overcome by Communism. She replied directly: "Yes."
  • Failure to Heed the Message: She lamented that humanity was not paying attention to the Virgin Mary's requests. Because her warnings were largely ignored, she noted that the "errors" (namely the atheism, materialism, and societal destruction inherent in Communism) would infiltrate all nations.
  • The Instrument of Chastisement: She explained that Russia would be chosen by Heaven as an instrument of chastisement to punish the entire world, if the conversion of that nation was not obtained beforehand.
  • The Root of the Spread: Sister Lucia emphasized that this spread is a spiritual battle, asserting that the devil is in the mood for a decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin, and is targeting priests and religious individuals to drag souls to hell.
  • The Remedy: When Fr. Fuentes asked what the solution was, she stated that the Blessed Virgin had given a "new efficacy" to the Holy Rosary. She asserted that there was no problem in the world or in families that could not be resolved by praying the Holy Rosary.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, protect us as we wear the Brown Scapular!
Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!

Third Order of Carmel - A Call From Fatima ...by Fr. Ronald F Gray, O Carm

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

I wanted to share with you through the month of July during this 775 year anniversary of the Brown Scapular, writings from the Carmelite friars in the year 1949 in preparation for the 700 year anniversary of the Brown Scapular. Since we have so many Carmelite friars today who are on the fence or worse about the laity wearing the Brown Scapular.... I felt it would be advantageous to pull these talks out from the past when faith was real and firm.

The below quote from the book, "Take This Scapular" is titled Our Lady of Fatima and Carmel written by Fr. Ronald F. Gray, O Carm (pages 163-167) I will not write it in its entirety but give some points of encouragement for us who try to live the Carmelite way of life, prayer, penance and reparation while living the message of Fatima. Here are his words....

"The rule of the Carmelite Third Order in its insistence on penance and mortification is a vivid, a clear and unmistakable response to Mary's most important request at Fatima. Though it is possible to pray the rosary and practice mortification in every state of life, it is by membership in the Third Order of Carmel that we can fulfill perfectly the request to dedicate ourselves and the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The individual can in no more perfect way than by profession in the Third Order openly proclaim to the world and to Mary his or her complete surrender to the ideals and virtues of the Queen of Heaven.

The life of the Carmelite Tertiary is entwined with the rosary. In many instances the recitation of the rosary, imposed by force of the Third Order rule, (Old Rule) is so cherished by the Tertiary that for him a Rosary-less hour is an incomplete hour. Rosary upon rosary is the Carmelite Tertiary's answer to Mary's plea for the daily rosary.

To consecrate means to dedicate, to surrender, completely. Nobody is more totally and exclusively dedicated to Mary than the members of the Carmelite Order, an Order known and recognized throughout its history as Mary's own Order. Third Order members have completely surrendered themselves by their profession in the Third Order to the aims, ideals, and aspirations of the Carmelite Order, which are to exemplify in the lives of each member the Order's total dedication to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

If the "why" of Fatima is the urgency of a late hour, then the "how" of Fatima is membership in the Carmelite Third Order. By her three famous requests at Fatima, Our Lady could not have more openly endorsed her Third Order of Carmel.

"If my requests are heard....Russia will be converted...and there will be peace!"
There is hope for the peace of heart and mind desired by all men. You have answered the call of Fatima. By your complete dedication to Mary in Carmel's Third Order you could not have come closer to the Heart of God!"

Every chapter in this book is amazing....very Catholic! There is no mention of the Brown Scapular in his address but it is understood that consecration (which is mentioned above) is indeed when we are enrolled in the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and indicates our consecration to Her Immaculate Heart. Also, Sr. Lucia mentioned that the rosary and the scapular are inseparable.

I would like to make a special request......to ask for your prayers for the repose of the soul of a Carmelite friar who when visiting the various Third Order Communities under his charge would tell them that the rosary was not Carmelite and that we were NOT to pray it publicly together...ALSO.....NOT to promote enrollment in the small Brown Scapular amongst the laity.... I personally witnessed both of these requests of him...and was actually one of the inspirations for me to start this website.....
his name to pray for is......

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....
Today is First Saturday and the 250 years of the Independence of the United States. I pray it will be a safe and happy time for those in this country. Please pray for all those suffering from storms, tornadoes, drought and wildfires that are out of control. Looks like "climate change" is at full force this summer. (It is climate change but not sure who is truly behind it all....God is allowing it though and that is why we accept.)

I am not sure what the Carmelite Orders around the world are doing for the 775 year anniversary but at least we should be aware and try to share Our Lady's Garment with as many as we possibly can.

I wish there were more Catholic Bishops that we could ask to help promote this devotion in his parishes. Not even the Carmelite Friars would do that. Times have modernized so much that one looks at this devotion with skepticism today. May we not be ranked among them. Our Lady came as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Oct 13, 1917 to the three children during the miracle of the sun. Sr. Lucia stated that the Rosary and the Scapular are inseparable....therefore we should promote both to the world.

I will try to post more this month on the Scapular for this great anniversary from the book...."Take This Scapular" which was written by the O Carm Friars to help prepare the Third Order to help distribute and promote devotion for the 700 year anniversary.....so we will repeat many of the  addresses made by the friars from 75 years ago since we no longer have friars with this heart today....sad to say!

Below are some links to help you order affordable scapulars and to print brochures for distribution.....please share!

"State of Emergency" is Not Strong Enough to Describe the State of the Roman Catholic Church Right Now - Reparation Needed!

Picture
Greetings in Jesus and Mary.....

Blessed First Friday! There is so much to make reparation for today.  I use to live in the Detroit Diocese where now there is a newly installed, as of March, 2025. a new Archbishop...Archbishop Weisenberger, one of the bishops who fully bought into the Covid restrictions while he was in Arizona and implemented many of the strictest restrictions in the nation. Now in Detroit, the first thing he did was STOP all TLM's outside of ICKSP at the St. Joseph Shrine....(we all sense that with the strong aversion to Tradition and the Latin Mass which Rome has....that these Ecclesia Dei groups will be last in losing the freedom to offer the Latin Mass....it will be a matter of time). NOW, Archbishop Weisenberger is working on closing MANY parishes of the 219 churches that remain. About 90 are chosen to close...early next year he will annouce these closings after many parish meetings held this year in order for it to look like it was a mutual well thought out decision......Is this the Vatican II Springtime or a Freemasonic wrecking ball at work?

Below is a link of how Catholic Archbishop Weisenberger is and what kind of State of Emergency we have. Remember, this is the Archbishop who will NOT tolerate the traditional Latin Mass but will embrace heretics. This would be an action (as well as many others we see) for excommunication at one point in Church history....but not today....only those who want Tradition and the Mass of All Ages need to be excommunicated! This should be a clue to all of us that to be excommunicated today is a declaration that you are not excommunicated from being Catholic ....BUT ..... you are excommunicated from the New World Religion!        "Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter." Isaiah 5:20

Also, Michael Matt gives us a Catholic outlook on the state of the Church since the consecrations of new bishops with the SSPX in the below link.

Tomorrow is First Saturday and our nations Independence Day....250 years. I will post info on the 775 year anniversary of the Brown Scapular July 16th with info on how to obtain Scapulars at an affordable rate to share with a WILLING pastor in enrolling more souls in the Brown Scapular.

God bless your First Friday and please continue the Fatima Reparation Prayers!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
