Hello Everyone: Today is the First Saturday of November and all are called to listen to Our Lady and offer Reparation for the sins we see all around us. I hope you participated - there is always next month - (Dec. 1st) Watching and reading the news today can bring all of us down - it looks so dismal and believe me - IT IS - More than we see!! Satan is in his hour and we pray that Our Lady will crush his disgusting head and SOON!! Here is a beautiful talk found on Sensus Fidelium. This priest covers the ugly of the day and also the promises of Our Lady - especially Our Lady of Fatima and the Carmelite saints regarding the importance of all of us wearing our Brown Scapular. It is a bit lengthy but just turn down the news and listen to this and pray. There is so much in this talk that it needs to be listened to more than once and take notes! Do not look down on the turbulent waves roaring at your feet causing you to feel that you will sink. Look up at Christ and keep focused on God Who can conquer all. This talk mentions how Our Lady will defeat ALL HERESIES! Yes, pray your Rosary and let it be the weapon that banishes the troubles in your own life and and in your family's so that She can move peace into the world as a result. God's ways are not our ways - but know that we can trust that His Way is the best. May we enter each day with great trust. Enjoy this talk, share it and PUT ON YOUR SCAPULAR and PLEASE PLEASE --buy more for your loved ones to wear. Great Christmas gift! God bless all of you and keep up the faith and trust! Our Lady will pray for us - let us choose Her as our Mother and be Her child with Her Scapular and Rosary!

Hello Everyone: Today is All Souls Day - when we pray for the dead. Why must souls suffer before they can see the face of God? Doesn’t the Sacrament of Penance sufficiently remove the effects of sin from the soul and pay the debt required for forgiveness? The penance imposed by the priest in the Sacrament of Penance – an integral part of that Sacrament – is to make satisfaction for the debt caused by sin. However, often the priest gives a penance for the sin that is much lighter than what is required by Divine Justice. Thus, an amount to be paid still remains, and the person should either do other penances to make expiation or he will go to Purgatory. Another means the Church gives to alleviate that debt – which is extra-sacramental and presupposes the effects obtained by confession, that is, contrition – is by means of indulgences. The word indulgence comes from the Latin indulgentia, a kindness or favor. In the Old Testament it was used to express release from punishment or captivity (Is 61:1). The Church uses the word in an analogous sense, defining indulgence as a remission of the punishment due to sin, where guilt has already been forgiven. A plenary indulgence is the remission of the entire temporal punishment due to sin so that no further expiation is required in Purgatory. A partial indulgence remits only a certain portion of the penalty due to sin. These are some examples of ways to gain a plenary indulgence:
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. Hello Everyone! Here we are in November already! Soon it will be a new year! As we get older - time passes more quickly. I am going to repeat much of what I stated last November because it is worth repeating! Also, at the end of this article will be a link to Mary's Dowry Productions. This is from England and the productions are not top notch quality but the content of what they want to convey is worth investing in. We need more saint DVD's and this is a way to educate yourselves and your children or grandchildren. I purchase in bulk directly from this English location and I believe it is somewhat less than ordering from Amazon - (many are available on Amazon). A book is the best for learning about the saints but with our crazy busy lives - sometimes relaxing with a cup of tea and a DVD is the way to feed our soul and a great wholesome way of entertainment for a family. Being Church Militant must be emphasized today and these DVD's can help motivate us by reviewing the heroes who lived before us! Soon this exile will be over but until it is - we must be Church Militant - not Church Sleepy, Church Compromise or Church Tolerant! This is difficult today. I too am susceptible to feeling the blues as I see disaster all around me. As mentioned before - I suppose this is why St. Therese of the Child Jesus loved St. Joan of Arc - she had courage! Something many of us lack today! St. Joan of Arc pray for us to remain faithful even when we see destruction and death all around us - pray that those of us who become wounded may get back on our horse as you did and fight the good fight for our King - the King of Kings - Jesus Christ! As stated in previous articles -- we must fight and He will give the victory! This we can be sure of because He is God ! Of course, we can not celebrate this great feast of All Saints without mentioning the Queen of All Saints and the Queen of Martyrs! God is such an amazing God to give us this Queen and Mother. She is the model for all of us during this Passion of the Church. She endured the Passion of Jesus Christ to its fullest and now She is supplying the graces we need to endure this present suffering. I truly believe that we are witnessing the Passion of the Mystical Body of Christ and soon to enter into a Crucifixion -A Bloody Martyrdom! We must now more than ever prepare ourselves for this and what better way than to be at the Foot of the Cross with Our Lady! Who stood at the foot of the Cross of Christ? Mary, His Mother, and all those in the company of Mary! That is it! The others ran in fear! That will happen to us if we do not get serious about being in the "company of Mary". Pray your Rosary daily to beg Her for these graces so desperately needed today! Have a Blessed All Saints Day! May all the Saints give glory to God and pray for us on earth to one day join them in this glory forever! May we fight the good fight! God bless us through the prayers and intercession of the Queen of All Saints!! |
