Greetings in Jesus and Mary... Today starts the Novena to the Holy Spirit before Pentecost. This is so beautiful that this starts one day before the Feast of the Queenship of Mary - She is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit and the channel by which we receive all the gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit. May we pray this Novena with Her as the first Apostles did. I have a special prayer request posted below but please keep in mind that the Traditional Latin Mass is at risk of being taken from us by Rome. Please pray also during this Novena for the grace of God allowing us to keep the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass going in all our communities throughout the world! I have put together a special prayer to the Holy Spirit to prepare us for next year, July 16, 2026 which will be the 775 year anniversary of St. Simon Stock receiving the Brown Scapular. In the last 75 years, the Brown Scapular has been trampled upon....mainly by the Carmelite friars themselves. If you are skeptical of the damage done by these friars; there are some books written and symposiums held by them (some conferences held without wearing their holy Habits but only secular clothing) A sample of such a MODERNIST book that you may want to read and scrutinize....."Carmel and Mary, Theology and History of a Devotion" done in 2001. Link below for your purchase. This is my prayer for a suggested Novena for use....(below is a link to print it) PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT: O Holy Spirit, You are the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity. You are the Spirit of truth, love and holiness, proceeding from the Father and the Son, and equal to Them in all things. I adore You and love You with all my heart. Teach me to know and to seek God, by whom and for whom I was created. Fill my heart with a holy fear and a great love for Him. Do not let me fall into sin. Increase faith, hope, and charity in me and bring forth in me all the virtues proper to my state of life. Help me to grow in the four cardinal virtues, Your seven gifts, and Your twelve fruits through the prayers and intercession of Mary, our Queen and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. As a Traditional Lay Carmelite, give me the grace to offer prayer and reparation in imitation of Our Lady. Please guide us in doing the Will of God and seeking to give Him all the glory and honor by living the Fatima message as Our Lady had requested. Help us to know what we should do each step of the way. We ask for the discernment of knowing what to do for our Blessed Mother of Carmel as we approach the 775 years (in 2026) of St. Simon Stock receiving the Brown Scapular. It has been trampled on, especially during these last 75 years and we want to repair this damage and help promote its use by the faithful. We ask the help and intercession of Blessed Fr. Marie-Eugene. We want Our Lady of Fatima’s message of praying the Rosary and wearing the Brown Scapular to get to others in order to win for God more souls and to offer the Hearts of Jesus and Mary the reparation that is needed in this fallen world. We beg his intercession to ask God through Our Lady to give us the guidance we need to proceed further with our love and commitment to this calling. We ask him to take our little work of living the Fatima message by way of Carmelite Spirituality and present it to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and beg them for the graces of discernment of our future steps regarding the promotion of enrollment in the small Brown Scapular and the praying of the Rosary and living Fatima. Holy Mother Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, pray for us! Also, this is my favorite DAILY prayer to the Holy Spirit below. It is simple to memorize and simple to use throughout the year. It is: Come Holy Spirit into our hearts that we may love the things that are of God. Come Holy Spirit into our minds that we may know the things which are of God. Come Holy Spirit into our souls that we may belong only to God. Sanctify all that we think, say and do that all will be for the greater glory of God. Our Lady - Spouse of the Holy Spirit, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
