This talk by Bishop Strickland is very telling.....may we listen to this modern day saint....may we pray for him and those like him at a time when truth is looked upon as divisive and something that should be ignored so that compromise be embraced...all in the name of mercy for unifying with those who choose not to walk in Truth.

May we be faithful to Truth and embrace the Cross because we choose to live as Jesus Christ and His True Apostles did.

May we pray our Rosaries for peace in the Church and in the world.

Blessed Sexagesima Sunday! Tomorrow starts the Holy Face Novena before Lent! Time certainly flies!  (link below).

When the Modernists were condemning Tradition and the Traditional Latin Mass....Archbishop Lefebvre stated......"I am obligated to pass on what was given to me!"  

I would like to share some info on the SSPX. When I was younger and growing up in the Novus Ordo Church, I remember hearing of the SSPX and how they were in schism with Rome. I use to think "Wow, how tragic that they took the name of one of my favorite saints...Pope St. Pius X". I felt that they had tarnished his good name.....such as the rainbow was hijacked by the LGBTQXYZ group.  It wasn't until the 2007 Motu Proprio by Pope Benedict XVI that I (like many others) began my studies of "what happened" to our Mass of All Ages.

I bought books and more books. (link below for this website's Latin Mass info). I felt like I was robbed as well as anyone else who cared to investigate what really happened and why. As I was now going to both the Latin Mass and the Novus Ordo, I began to see the differences (as well as read about them). I read the book written by Archbishop Lefebvre titled, "Open Letter to Confused Catholics". Highly recommended this book for anyone that is confused....are there confused Catholics out there??? (link below to purchase one)

The history of Archbishop Lefebvre is amazing. (link below) He came from a large Catholic family and they were daily Mass goers with FIVE vocations out of 8 children. He came from a family of prayer, catechesis and an intense sacramental life. Catholic families should all strive to be like this because....... in the end....only our eternity is worth investing in. (Could the daily offering of the Sacrifice of the Mass be the result of 5 vocations??) He died on March 25,  1991 at the age of 85. A FEAST OF OUR LADY! I can't wait for them to exhume his body (someday) to see if God has allowed him to be incorrupt for all the modernists to see how God approved of this man's work for the salvation of souls.

Some are still against this man because of the pushback that came from Rome at a time when they wanted to replace the Mass with a "new" Mass.....a "modernized" Mass that Pope St. Pius X wrote against. St. Pius X called modernism the synthesis of ALL HERESIES and wrote MUCH against it. Consequently, we now have SO MUCH division throughout the world and throughout these past 60+ years since these innovators in Rome gave us this "new" Mass. So many orders, seminaries, vocations, religious convents and sisters, schools, churches and last but not least families......ALL DIED because of it.  And the ironic part is that Pope Leo and his assistants in Rome want to extinguish the TLM COMPLETELY so that ONLY the "new" Mass can exist........ in order for the Church to have UNITY!  YIKES .... That sounds like complete annihilation of what is left of the Catholic Church!  How about getting rid of the culprit...the "new" Mass is what caused the disunity......We had unity before they modernized everything. (Pope St. Pius X is incorrupt - could God be giving us a sign that what he shared with the world was TRUTH! Modernism is the synthesis of ALL HERESIES).

There are so many books written on this...every Catholic has an obligation to read about what had happened.....how the Vatican II Council was hijacked by the progressives.....how the "New" Mass was written by a Freemasonic prelate named Annibale Bugnini. (link on him below).

I wanted to post this to help the confused become unconfused. I also needed to mention that Our Lady had warned us that this would take place....mainly because we have turned away from God in prayer and worship. (link at bottom of the previous article - could this have been the Third Secret that Rome WOULD NOT SHARE in 1960?)

I will end with the point that Archbishop Lefebvre was a great blessing from God. He always put God first and the salvation of souls. Everything he did was with this in mind.....not like the modernists. If he was not brave enough to stand against the modernists who were dismantling the sacrificial Mass and giving us a community meal in its place......we would not have the FSSP or ICKSP, or the other traditional orders that give us the Latin Mass. We can thank him for that and that is what this podcaster on the below video points out at the end. Below video of information is worth listening to.

May we keep all of this in prayer and please start your novena to the Holy Face of Jesus tomorrow for the feast day which falls on Feb. 17th this year (Tuesday before Ash Wednesday).

Superior General Pagliarani of the SSPX says new bishops are needed to continue to care for souls amid doctrinal collapse, liturgical suppression, and Rome’s refusal to grant lasting protection for Tradition. AMEN!

May we pray for the Church and for this to occur without trouble from Rome. Let us pray for Pope Leo XIV and the Society of St. Pius X.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

Today we are in the 5th day of our Novena to Our Lady of Good Success. I pray everyone is staying warm and using our home time to read and pray.

I just watched a documentary on Anne Frank and reliving what happened during WWII which was foretold by Our Lady of Fatima, brought to my mind that we have never stopped the horror of this war. We have relabeled it and it is now done in a more sophisticated way in our world of technology.

This is not a happy article but one of reality. We may be living out our lives, praying our prayers and not even realizing that we are PRESENTLY living in a war that far exceeds all evils over God and mankind that has ever happened in all of human history.

If we are paying attention to the details of the day, we will soon realize that complete control of EVERYTHING is about to take place because it is happening minute by minute, day by day.

Below are a few videos to show that we are entering into a New World Order and a New World Religion headed by our own Roman Catholic Church. I should separate these two entities in two different articles but they are working together and are merging.....so here is only a glimpse.

Holy Mother of Good Success, pray for us and guide us to Your Son Who is Truth!

I am back from almost a month with my daughter who just gave birth to Mary Margaret on Dec. 29th. Please pray that she be given the strength and the graces to care for two little ones who are both in diapers. It will be a challenge for awhile but when they get a bit older, it will be fun to have them so close in age. I give thanks to God for a healthy mom and baby and a great trip that did not have any sickness by anyone at a time when colds and flu are prevalent. God is so good!

I am posting today about the Novena to Our Lady of Good Success. If you are not too familiar with these apparations to Mother Mariana in Quito Ecuador in the 1600's, one should get acquainted because the messages were amazingly given for this time that we live in now. Our Lady foresaw what was going to transpire in the world and had asked Mother Mariana and her sisters to make reparation for the crimes committed today because holiness would be lacking and sin would abound. The image is miraculous and the story is filled with supernatural graces.

I am going to copy and paste for you the relations between Fatima and Quito since this website is about Fatima. These words quoted below are from an article on Tradition In Action written by Marian Horvat (author of the books on Our Lady of Good Success found on Tradition in Action website).....

"During Jacinta’s stay at the orphanage of Our Lady of Miracles in Lisbon in 1920, Our Lady told her, “The sins that lead more souls to hell are the sins of the flesh.” There were other prophecies She revealed to the little girl: “Styles will come that will offend Our Lord very much. Persons who serve God should not follow the styles. The Church does not have styles. Our Lord is always the same.” She said that the sins of impurity would be so great there would be almost no virgin souls. She said that many marriages are not good, that they do not please Our Lord and are not of God. Finally, Jacinta repeated continually to Lucia and Mother Godinho: “Pray much for priests and religious. Priests should be pure, very pure!”

Three centuries before, in Quito, Ecuador, on January 20, 1610, Our Lady appeared carrying a crozier in Her right hand and her Divine Son in her left arm so that, “all will know that I am merciful and understanding. Let them come to me, for I will lead them to Him.” She told Mother Mariana that in the twentieth century, “the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of customs, for Satan will reign almost completely by means of the Masonic sects. They will focus particularly on the children in order to achieve this general corruption. Woe to the children of these times.” Obviously, she is speaking of the secular humanist revolution about which so much has been written that has completely invaded the secular as well as religious institutions of our times.

(It is surprising to see Our Lady referring to the Masonic sect already at the beginning of the 17th century. It was only in the 17th century that Freemasonry generally looks for the first emergence of the structure that has filtered down to us today. However, Freemasonry was closely connected to the Rosicrusianism and can be traced even to sects that existed in the Middle Ages.)

Our Lady continued, describing the abuses that would attack each of the Sacraments: “Woe to the children of these times because it will be difficult to receive the Sacrament of Baptism and also that of Confirmation.” She warned that the devil would assiduously try to destroy the sacrament of Confession and Holy Communion. She lamented the many sacrileges and abuses of the Blessed Sacrament that would occur. The Sacrament of Extreme Unction would be little esteemed and many people would die without receiving it, thus denied assistance they would need for that “great leap from time to Eternity.”

The Sacred Sacrament of Holy Orders would be ridiculed, oppressed and despised. The demon would labor unceasingly to corrupt the clergy and would succeed with many of them. And these “depraved priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will incite the hatred of the bad Christians and the enemies of the Roman, Catholic and Apostolic Church to fall upon all priests. This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous sufferings upon the good pastors of the Church.”
About the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, she said this: “Masonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the objective of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin. … The Christian spirit will rapidly decay, extinguishing the precious light of Faith until it reaches the point that there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs.

In these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury that would conquer innumerable frivolous souls who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent.”

This forewarning resounds loudly in the ears of those who have followed the Fatima apparitions: “In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent.” It is impossible not to ask: Why was the third secret of Fatima not revealed in 1960 according to the mandate of the Queen of Heaven? Why have the conciliar and post-conciliar popes remained silent in face of the command of Heaven? Further, in face of so many blasphemies and blatant abuses - which you can see in a very vivid way in the video recently released by the Spirit of Chartres Pilgrimage Committee titled “What We Have Lost” - why have so many persons in places of authority remained silent?

Where is the healthy reaction to so many violations against tradition, the Magisterium and even basic common good sense?

The crisis in the Church

Finally, we arrived at one of the most important apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success to Mother Mariana in 1634, a year before her death. As Mother Mariana prayed before the Blessed Sacrament on Feb. 2 (the Feast of the Purification - Presentation), she saw the sanctuary light extinguish itself, leaving the altar place completely dark. This is significant in itself for those of us today who have reason to believe that, in fact, in many churches across the world the Tabernacle light has, quite literally, been extinguished.

Our Lady then explained the five meanings of the Tabernacle light that had been extinguished before her eyes. The first meaning: “At the end of the 19th century and into the 20th century, various heresies will be propagated in this land. … As these heresies spread and dominate, the precious light of Faith will be extinguished in souls by the almost total corruption of customs. During this period, there will be great physical and moral calamities, both public and private.”

However, there would be souls, she promised, who would remain faithful and would preserve the treasure of the Faith and virtues. But these would suffer a cruel, unspeakable and prolonged martyrdom. “In order to free men from bondage to these heresies, those chosen by Most Holy Son to effect the restoration will need great strength of will, constancy, valor and confidence in God. To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions where all will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.”

These chosen souls, who will restore the health of the Church, seem to be very similar to the apostles of the latter times predicted by St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort.

The second meaning: The crisis in the clergy, both secular and regular. Many vocations would be lost, and injustice and iniquity would enter the convents and monasteries under the guise of “false charity, wreaking havoc in souls.” “The secular clergy,” She said, “will leave much to be desired because priests will become careless in their sacred duties. Lacking the divine compass, they will stray from the road traced by God for the priestly ministry, and they will become attached to wealth and riches, which they will unduly strive to obtain.

“How the Church will suffer during this dark night! … [Lacking a prelate and father to guide them with paternal love, gentleness, strength, wisdom and prudence, many priests will lose their spirit, placing their souls in great danger.”]

The third meaning: Impurity will permeate the atmosphere and there will almost no virgin souls in the world. I have already mentioned this prophecy, so will continue on to the next.

The fourth meaning: “Masonic sects, having infiltrated all the social classes, would subtly introduce its teaching into domestic ambiences in order to corrupt the children,” she warned. It is the invasion of the secular humanism of Freemasonry and the errors of Communism. But Our Lady promised that there would be, “religious communities and individuals who would labor with valor and disinterested zeal for the salvation of souls. Against them, the impious would rage cruel wars.”

The fifth meaning is quite interesting: Our Lady said, “The fifth reason that the lamp was extinguished is due to the laxity and the negligence of those who possess great wealth who will indifferently stand by and witness the Church being oppressed, virtue being persecuted, and the triumph of the demon, without piously employing their riches for the destruction of this evil and the restoration of the Faith.”

The Queen of Heaven also noted that this quenching of the Tabernacle light was also due to the indifference of the people in allowing the Name of God to be gradually extinguished and in adhering to the spirit of evil, freely delivering themselves to the vices and passions.

Fatima and Quito: Messages that confirm each other

It seems to me an opportune moment for this story of Our Lady of Good Success and Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres to become better known to the English-speaking public. For there, just as she did at Fatima, she asked for prayer and sacrifice to make amends for the many outrages and abuses of this unhappy century. But also, at Quito, just as She did at Fatima, she assures us of her fortunate intervention and triumph.

For the message of Our Lady of Good Success is, like that of Our Lady at Fatima, a message of great hope. She promised a band of stalwart souls filled with confidence who would help to effect the happy Restoration. She promised her intercession at the very moment when the evil will appear triumphant and when the authority abuses her power. This would mark, as She said, “the arrival of my hour, when, in a marvelous way, I will dethrone the proud and accursed Satan, trampling him under my feet and fettering him in the infernal abyss.” These words harmonize perfectly with the message of hope Our Lady delivered to the three children at Fatima in 1917: “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”

This is the secret for success of the Counter-revolution: to be convinced of the victory Our Lady promised. It is not sufficient to merely maintain a firm resolution to suffer… it is necessary to have something that is both more onerous while more suave. It is to maintain the conviction that in the end the things will end up succeeding.

To become worthy of the success, the victory that Our Lady predicted, we need a supernatural confidence. We need to be entirely convinced of that victory - the promise of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917: “In the End My immaculate Heart will Triumph.” We need to be completely convinced of the happy restoration: the words of Our Lady at Quito in 1634: “To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions where all will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.”

A Final Consideration

It seems to me that gazing on the countenance of Our Lady of Fatima, we see Our Lady of the Chastisement. Her maternal gaze looks down with a great mercy, but also a profound sadness, on a suffering humanity, an agonizing mankind. Lucia recounts that by the 3rd apparition, Our Lady had begun to reveal the sadness in her soul. In the last apparition, Lucia recounted, with an even sadder expression, She said, “Let them offend Our Lord no more, for He is already much offended.” In this face, we see the prophet of the chastisement.

Our Lady Promised Her Triumph

Our Lady of Good Success appears as mother and as a triumphant queen. Her gaze assures us of the final victory and triumph of the Immaculate heart of Jesus and Mary, the “happy restoration” when they will rule again as King and Queen in the spiritual and temporal spheres.

She is clearly the Queen of the Reign of Mary. She assures us in the moment of the great trial, the chastisement, of Her victory. She enheartens us that although it be difficult, our way is the correct way. She enlivens us to pray and to fight for that confidence, that peace, that victory still to come in our days. She invites us to fulfill the prophetic role, however small it might be, that She has for us in the achievement of this victory.

It seems an opportune moment for this story of Our Lady of Good Success and Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres to become better known to the English-speaking public. The reader will also be interested to know that Our Lady of Good Success promised, “consolation and preservation to those faithful souls” who foster this devotion to her during the 20th century, for it is her desire and that of her Divine Son that she be known now under this invocation so filled with promise: Our Lady of Good Success.

May all who have recourse to her under this title feel her maternal goodness and receive “good success” in all their good endeavors and needs. May knowledge of this devotion hasten the day when she will be known and honored everywhere as Queen of Heaven and Earth as she has prophesied - In Quito and in Fatima.

May Our Lady of Good Success pray for us as we prepare for the Feast Day of February 2, 2026.

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

I have been away from this site because I am out of state right now for awhile helping my daughter who gave birth by C-Section to a baby girl named Mary Margaret, born December 29th and Baptized on January 6th. We are greatly blessed. She also has a 15 month old who is getting over her jealousy slowly but is entering into the terrible twos quickly to get attention...discipline will be needed Soon!  We are giving both much attention and I am glad I made the trip. Healing from this surgery and having two babies in diapers is a challenge. She will have her hands full when I leave which will be at the end of this month.

I was able to take a quick break and I am posting from her computer. I pray all of you are well and praying for a Holy Year ahead. May God's Will be done and may we be His good friends always....because He has so few of them!!

I took a peak at the Tradition in Action website and found this recent article which is interesting....Our Lady at Quito Ecuador stated that good men would remain silent....it is happening now and this article below proves that it happened during the Second Vatican Council.

I pray all of you will have a blessed Christmas...I will post a prayer to St. Therese of the Child Jesus below.  May she intercede for us and shower us with the graces found in the Heart of the Infant Jesus.

I will not be posting here for a while because I am leaving out of state to help one of my daughters who is having another baby and will be needing help. I will not be back till the end of January so I will not be posting anything on this website until then but I would like to encourage all to check out the articles written in years past...there are so many. I am amazed that I have been doing this since 2017. 

Please keep my daughter Margaret in prayer. I will come back the end of January to give the update and change the info in the corner of this page to 9 grandchildren. God is very good. Please pray for safe travels and health for all during my stay. I thank you!

Below is a prayer to St. Therese of the Child Jesus found in an old  novena book...

O Dear St. Therese, friend and spouse of the Child Jesus, we humbly thank you for the manifold blessings which you have procured for us from the throne of God's infinite mercy!

To you the glowing star in this night of modern materialism, we turn for guidance and for assistance.

Fill the minds of both our boys and girls with the lofty, yet simple ideas of purity, obedience and sacrifice. Soften the hardened hearts of every sinner so that he will know how sweet it is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ!

Relying upon your promise to shower down roses from your heavenly throne we beseech you to be our powerful intercessor before Jesus Christ. Beg Him to send down blessings of health to those who have besought Him; to shower down happiness on those hearts that are ladened with grief.

Fill our souls with faith, with hope and with love. And especially pray that we may receive the gift of final perseverance so that when life's stormy day has passed we may join you in the garden courts of heaven to shower down roses on those whom we, too, will leave behind.

O Father in Heaven, Who through St. Therese of the Child Jesus, do desire to remind the world of the merciful Love that fills Your Heart, and the childlike trust we should have in You, humbly we thank You for having crowned with so great glory Your ever faithful child, and for giving her wondrous power to bring unto You, day by day, innumerable souls who will praise You eternally.

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

They did not recognize Jesus because He did not come as they had expected.....pomp and splendor but instead....in poverty and lowliness. What an incentive it is for us to embrace poverty and humility...it is so far away from the thinkings of the world.

On the hillside of Bethlehem were caves or grottos which served as stables for donkeys and cattle. This is the Will of God where His Son was to be born...not in the populated inn where most stayed for shelter. How bitterly cold, poor and lacking in comforts this place was for the Newborn King. Joseph and Mary are quiet and content because they have surrender themselves to the profound wisdom and providence of the Almighty Father. In prayer and vigil, both Joseph and Mary prepare the best they can a dwelling for the awaited Messiah...the greatest event since the creation of the world.

This poverty is such a contradiction already to the world that seeks comforts for all of its senses. May we understand that when discomforts come our way, they are meant to form us and to lead us to the only joy.......Jesus! May we make room for Him in our hearts today and prepare them for Him to dwell there....now and for all eternity. "Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be lifted up, ye ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in."
