Today, I am posting a reference to a book I have read awhile ago but will again pick it up to reread. It is "When A Nation Forgets God, 7 Lessons We Must Learn From Nazi Germany" by a Protestant Minister named Erwin Lutzer. A MUST READ! Also, below is a video of a true story of Sophie Scholl who was a Protestant youth in the Nazi resistance during WWII. Scholl was a student at the University of Munich who, along with her brother Hans, founded the White Rose group in 1942. The group printed and distributed leaflets calling on citizens to resist the Nazi regime. Scholl was betrayed to the Gestapo and sentenced to death, along with her brother and Christoph Probst. They were executed by guillotine on February 22, 1943. She was against the propaganda. She was caught distributing flyers of "misinformation" at colleges in Germany. May we pray for strength to endure the same fate for us in USA with the "disinformation" cry of our USA Government where our Constitution and its Bill of Rights have been trampled upon. We do have internment camps ready in the USA for such a time as they saw in Nazi Germany. Are we not already seeing patriotic Americans arrested and put in jail...I could list them but I hope you are aware of so many. True patriots are called a threat to democracy. Some whistleblowers are not even caught but just "suddenly" die from "natural" causes or suicide. Their weapons today outshine the ones used in the 1940's. TRUTH MUST PREVAIL and we must seek it and share it. First and foremost, may we love God above all things or we will experience the same fate as many nations that forgot God in the past. I hope you investigate this book and this movie of Sophie Scholl which can be found in its entirety on YouTube but here is a clip of a very important part where Sophie is being interrogated by the SS and she states her thoughts and beliefs. I am glad that this movie shows her in prayer...... which gave her the grace to do what she did. This is a critical part of this true story. This movie shows a Protestant Minister coming to her cell before she dies but it was a Catholic priest who blessed her before she died. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us and grant us knowledge and peace! Pray, O Holy Mother of God, that we may always do the Will of the Father and defend life and not buy into the culture of death! PRAY THE FULL ROSARY DAILY......Our country and the world is in trouble!
