Hello Everyone: In the Talk Section - we have focused on where we are in the Church and how we can resist the enemy within. In order to do this, we must ask Our Lady to help us. We need to ask Her to make us great saints. Do we do that? Is sanctity for all of us? Yes but we are just too frightened and timid to ask for the virtues needed to be saints. Mary wants all of us to be saints for Her Son Jesus! His yoke is easy and his burden is light when the soul no longer lives for itself but for God alone. Rarely is this state ever attained but through the cross of Jesus Christ. Terrible trials, terrific struggles, sickness, disease, constant battle with the enemy of our soul, and entire mortification of the will can not be endured by ourselves. If we only knew that to go through this desert with Our Blessed Mother would lead us to the fair and lovely land of unchanging peace of Her Son, we would surely have courage! If we knew the constant peace of God within the soul, unknown to so many, we would run to prayer. We would try to keep the presence of God within our soul and pray always within our hearts. We must offer up our pains of body and soul and our daily duty as asked for at Fatima. We must be sure to thank God for them. We can never thank Him as He deserves to be thanked so do it daily and do it when it seems most painful! May we ask Our Blessed Mother to give us the gift of being able to suffer well these trials so that we can draw close to Our Crucified Lord. She will press us close to Herself as a dear Mother and lead us to Her Son Jesus. We will then be saints by God's grace and be able to influence those all around us to seek God and become saints themselves. The saints never go to Heaven alone, they take others with them. On this earth we can begin our Heaven. It will not be easy. There must always be a cross before the resurrection. We know the trials we face, we must offer them to God through the hands of our pure and good Mother. We must beg Her to open Her Heart and share those graces which will help us through the rough times that we all have. Yes, we all have different crosses but God's grace is sufficient for all of them. We must be confident and we must be persistent in our prayers because they are promised to be answered. We must remember that God wills our sanctity more than we do. It is His Will that we be saints. We must surrender to Our Lady, our good Mother, and plead for Her to share with us the necessary graces throughout our day - each day - for all that we need until She finally leads us home to Heaven. Let us remember the fact that this life is but a grain of sand on a beach. All the grains of sand on all the beaches of the world still do not equal eternity. Let us remember this when it becomes painful and hard - the fight will be over very soon and we want to claim: 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
