Hello Everyone:
I am sorry this is a week late. As they say, better late than never. Knowledge of fatherhood is greatly needed as we are into the second or third generation of men who have a false image of what a father is. It is so terribly off the mark. St. Joseph Covenant Keepers is a Catholic group that does have seminars and programs to help bring this awareness to the fathers of families so that they can be true men. There are even books to help them come to understand this. We can also find such books written by priests for men but they are pre-Vatican II. We can also pray for God's graces! We will focus here on Our Lady and Her relationship to Her Eternal Father. Can we even imagine it? The prayers and conversations that first were transmitted to each other as soon as She was conceived immaculate. She rested in His sweet heavenly embrace since the moment of Her existence. She never withdrew as we have done. She lived in constant love of the Father. Think of how She always brought glory and honor to Him Who created Her! May She be our example. May we pray to Our Lady for this same love although it will never equal Hers. She, as the Dispenser of All Graces, is capable of hearing this prayer and giving us the graces to Love God above all things! We can not do this without God's grace. May we pray for Our Lady to help and aid us to always go to the Father with complete confidence in His Fatherly love. May She help us to recognize that without His love for us - we would not have Her - we would not have Jesus, His Son! It is written in the City of God by Mother Mary Agreda that the favorite prayer Our Lady loves to hear Her children say is: "Thank you Eternal Father for all the graces you bestowed upon Our Good Queen and Mother! Thank you for knowing that we needed Her and for dispensing Your graces through Her!" She always wants us to turn to the Father in thanksgiving. May we always know the source of Goodness - it is not Mary - it is God the Father. She is just the channel that He has chosen to use - and a beautiful, spotless and humble one. One that will give ALL THE GLORY TO GOD! She keeps nothing for Herself. May we live in imitation of our good and holy Mother and offer all to God our Father. Thank you Eternal Father for all you have given to us through Mary! Thank you for giving us Jesus through Mary! Praise, honor and glory be Yours Now and Forever! We love You with our whole hearts, minds and souls!
