We are in day 3 of the Consecration. I hope you are participating for all the graces that you can receive by doing this. Our Lady is our hope today! She can lead us to Her Son and can protect us from the enemy..... why would you say no to that! Sadly, many do! The picture above is when JB was VP...almost a decade ago. I am writing about the attacks on America because of the flood of soldiers coming in. Think about it... if we did not have the "distraction" of immigrants coming in; how could they bring in the soldiers without too much concern or notice by the American people. This is blatant treason and IT IS HAPPENING!. We are being set up in America. We had our elections stolen and a man who has been working with China for decades is put into office at a perfect age to be the best puppet and also to be the best laughing stock for the rest of the world. It is a double win for the globalists...they get to win this nation and make fun of us at the same time! If the globalists that want a One World Order have their way....JB will have another four years to completely destroy this nation. It is insane to think that this man who is truly senile with dementia is even considered...that alone should make us realize....this country is ALREADY TAKEN! I posted on Ash Wednesday a clip from Fox News that showed actual faces of military age men coming into this country to wipe us out. The sheriffs of the nation had their yearly meeting in DC and came back with info that we all need to be armed. The below video shows an Ohio sheriff sounding the alarm AND actually offering preparation classes for this preparedness. Our government that has thrown away the Constitution is outlawing this type of preparation as a "terrorist" threat nationwide. I have another video to show this is true below. Please pray for our nation. Prepare physically, emotionally and most of all spiritually. Consecrate yourself and your loved ones to Our Lord through Our Lady! This is critical for the times we are living in now. Pray the Rosary daily...go to as many Masses as you can because the Latin Mass will be no more (video below). Pope Francis, the globalist One World Order Chaplain; who puts climate change and experimental injections before the salvation of souls is after the Latin Mass. Why the attack on the Latin Mass? If you are to renew your Consecration to Jesus through Mary or make it for the first time - It begins tomorrow - Feb. 20th - March 25th. This is also a great way to make Lent special as it will run through most of our Lenten days. This year March 25 is in Holy Week and some calendars have posted the Feast of the Annunciation on April 8th...after Easter. Some parishes are still offering the Consecration date on March 25th but you can wait until April 8th if you so desire. This is a bit intense and we are busy people....do not be discouraged if you miss a day...just go over the missed material the next day. (I have posted a link that does the prayers and readings for you to follow. This may be more desirable for you). Please make this more of a mental exercise of keeping company with Mary throughout your day and this will help you to find the time for the studies and prayers that are required each day. Now more than ever do we need to be doing this Consecration for the guidance and protection from Our Lady Who has been appointed to crush the head of Satan. WE NEED HER IN THESE STORMY DAYS! Please try to follow this and help encourage others. If they miss March 25 then another Marian feast day can be chosen (and this year since March 25 falls in Holy Week....you can postpone it to April 8th after Easter). I will post the preparation by the week for you to follow. This Consecration can be made on any Feast day of Our Lady but the Feast of the Annunciation is the date that St. Louis De Montfort recommended to make this Consecration. It is when Jesus became incarnate in the Most Blessed Virgin Mary - therefore - it is a great day to offer ourselves to Jesus through Mary. You will need the book "True Devotion to Mary" by St. Louis deMontfort and the Preparation book. You can find them on most Catholic book sites. I have a link below that takes you through the preparation readings and prayers for each day. During this entire 33 days we are asked to spend some time reading, meditating on a certain passage and praying. This is broken down into four sections: 12 days – Withdrawing from the World 7 days - Knowledge of Self 7 days – Knowledge of Mary 7 days – Knowledge of Jesus The book “Preparation for Total Consecration” is our guide as to what each day proposes. The guide can be found at the back of some "True Devotion to Mary" books. We can add readings from “True Devotion to Mary” as we are allowed in our daily lives. It is proposed that we not only say the prayers in the book but try to add a Rosary and if possible – Daily Mass (for extra graces). It is also recommended that making a good Confession before we begin the 33 days and just before the Consecration date would afford us a deeper commitment and more grace. There are other methods but I encourage the use of St. Louis de Montfort (and so does the Old Rule of Carmel). It is in the Old Rule that this consecration draws us closer to Jesus through Mary and so it is encouraged. You can find this Old Rule on this website. The first week starts on Feb. 20 which is tomorrow or you can begin on Feb. 21 as some do to finish on the day of the Consecration. The first 12 Days is to divest ourselves of the World. This is to understand the conflict that the world gives us. We need to understand the enemies of the Church which are: the devil, the world and the flesh. Contrary to modern ideas - the world is an enemy! This is a new idea for some and it may even be neglected in some forms of Consecration because we have integrated the ways of the world with our religious beliefs causing us to be mediocre which is repulsive to Our Lord. Therefore, St. Louis de Montfort gives us perennial Truth! Times change but the Truth NEVER CHANGES! God's ways yesterday are God's ways today - contrary to popular belief. THE FIRST TWELVE DAYS WITHDRAWING FROM THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD The meditations should be made in the presence of Our Lady. We should start these 33 days off by asking her to show us each day what it is we are trying to discover on this journey. The spirit of the world is opposed to the Spirit of God. It is critical to be serious about this section because the more room we clear in our souls, the more room the Holy Spirit has to fill it. Begin the daily meditation not only in the company of Mary but with the desire to start a new life with Jesus through her. We must wish to give ourselves entirely to her as He did. Mary is longing to make another Jesus of us. It is by the operation of the Holy Spirit that we will have this new life in Christ. We must draw the resolution from each meditation to desire earnestly to be emptied of the evil spirit, the spirit of the world, and our own selfish spirit, that there may be in us no obstruction to God’s Spirit and to being transformed in Christ. Repeating little prayers throughout the day and keeping the presence of God always before us will be helpful. Throughout the first week, we are to ask Mary to ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us about what it exactly is that keeps us from her Son. She will expose these things to our mind so that we can renounce them. It is critical that we trust ourselves entirely to God and His grace to accomplish removing the obstacles from our souls. He is more anxious to assist us in overcoming these defects that we are in overcoming them. It is important to understand that everything is God’s grace. We must understand grace and its value if we are to not be of the spirit of the world. Grace is the life of God in our souls – the more grace – the more God dwells within that soul. We should eagerly seek to acquire and preserve this grace. We can acquire it through practicing His presence, prayers, Mass, spiritual reading, acts of love, etc. We can preserve this grace by staying far from sin and going to Confession often. “Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it.” We must have constant recourse to God and not neglect the seemingly smallest grace because the smallest grace is great. We must use all the natural means God has given us in His service but we must remember that it is by God’s grace that we can ever succeed. An example of the spirit of the world would be for one to always look to self or man for the answer or solution instead of God. And even when the answer or solution is given – the world gives the credit NOT to God who is always the giver of all good things. So our goal during these 12 first days is to come to understand the difference of the world vs. God. The spirit of the world is so a part of our lives that sometimes we do not see where the difference lies. The passages in the “Preparation Book” will help us to come to understand this. Praying the Litany of the Holy Spirit will give us enlightenment to see these differences. POINTS FOR THE FIRST WEEK
God bless you in this endeavor. - I will post Knowledge of Self just before this time period begins. PS - I do not recommend using the "33 Days to Morning Glory". It is an excellent book to help encourage one to make this Consecration as it gives the lives of four that have made it. It is missing some critical steps that St. Louis wants in order for this Consecration to be fruitful. Again, one can read it for inspiration but the Traditional means of Consecration should be pursued by using the writings and preparation of the De Montfort Fathers. Blessed Ash Wednesday to all! This is the most important Lent of our life....and may be our last! Well...we could say that every year because we never know when God will call us home....but, this year is....well....you know! We are at the precipice of war. Anyone who has a shred of common sense can see this. We are so very far away from God in the world and in America. With the present news of war and more BILLIONS of dollars being sent for more of the same.....with more that 20,000 Chinese nationals admitted through our border IN THE LAST FOUR MONTHS (link below) (and many tens of thousands coming in from all over in the last 3 years) - PRAYER AND REPARATION AND FASTING are needed greatly. We need to take this message seriously and spread it to all those we love to wake them up before they are taken from this world in the state of sin - without the chance of repentance. The below video is dated (10 years old) but I feel it is relevant to remind us of the consequence of sin, the reality of war and the message of Our Lady of Fatima. PLEASE SHARE! The day before Ash Wednesday is always the Feast Day of the Most Holy Face of Jesus! Below are links for a two part talk on the Devotion with many details..I hope you can listen to it. Now more than ever do we need this devotion of Reparation! We all know that with the local events...war for the world is imminent. We can mitigate some of the suffering from this chastisement by our prayers of reparation. Our Lady of Fatima warned that if Russia is not consecrated....there would be trouble. Here we are! BUT IN THE END HER IMMACULATE HEART WILL TRIUMPH! May we spend these days of Lent with this hope in our hearts but with a spirit of prayer, penance and reparation. Let us put our trust in God, He is a loving Father. God is Love! The reality that all sin must be repaired for is a real mystery. Prayer can mitigate this but we must offer up our days, our prayers, our penances. JESUS MARY I LOVE YOU SAVE SOULS!...must be a constant prayer as we see so many now and we will see many more that will die...not ready! Obtaining an image of the Holy Face of Jesus (possibly with the relic on it), and having the image blessed by a priest would be great to have; not only to bless our home and have to pray before but in case we see the day when we can not get to a Mass. May we have a truly blessed Feast Day and a blessed Lent...close to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary! O Bleeding Face, O Face Divine, be every adoration Thine! Feb. 11th is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and I am going to repeat a post that I made in previous years because of all this important information for the day. On February 11th, 1858, Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette to give her a message of prayer and penance for a world heading for disaster. She also came to confirm the new Dogma proclaimed by Pope Pius IX of the Immaculate Conception in 1854 (link below). She replied to St. Bernadette when asked who she was – “I am the Immaculate Conception.” To this day it is still a controversy. I can’t understand why – how in the world is the Eternal Father going to have the Holy Spirit come upon a woman of sin to conceive and bear His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ? She was kept free from all sin from her conception for this reason – to be His first Tabernacle – immaculate and pure. God in His infinite wisdom knew she would consent to this august duty of becoming the Mother of Jesus and consequently our Mother as well. She was in perfect union to the Will of God from her conception. How could God have it any other way? I have some words from Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen below. These words were taken from a talk he did on “Catholic Hour”, March 11, 1951. Those were the days!!! I never saw them but can only imagine. When I began to study how we got to the crisis we have now in the Church, I looked up the Catholic statistics that existed just for USA. From 1920 to 1960, numbers for Catholics were SOARING!! That would make any Freemason shake in his boots! What to do??? Take over the Vatican – open a council that will change everything – including the Mass – destroy the faith in the people and call it modernism. Modernism? Didn’t the priests from 1910 make an Oath Against Modernism (link below)? (Yes, but after the Council, Pope Paul VI – ripped it up and said it exists NO MORE! Modernism reigns!) And the rest is history! Priests left in droves rather than live against the oath they made to God. A history of decline that we are living in now. Anyway – I digressed. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (who should be a declared saint by now but is being held up by the ecclesiastical freemasons) did amazing evangelizing to the WORLD on radio! Who needs a “new” evangelization when the traditional evangelization was working???? OK – let’s get to our talk by Bishop Fulton Sheen. (This is not in its entirety – too long – just highlights – enjoy and God bless!) “God has two pictures of us; one is what we are, the other what we ought to be. He has the model and He has the reality; the blueprint and the edifice; the score of the music and the way we play it. God has to have these two pictures because in each and every one of us there is some disproportion and want of conformity between the original plan and the way we with our freedom, worked it out. The image is blurred; the print is faded; our free acts do not coincide with the law of our being; we fall short of all God wants us to be. (very sad) But though God has two pictures of us, there is however one person in all of humanity of whom He has only one picture, and in whom there is perfect conformity between what He wanted her to be and what she is, and that is His Blessed Mother. Most of us are a minus sign, in the sense that we do not fulfill the high hopes the Heavenly Father has for us. But Mary is the equal sign. The Ideal God had for her, that she is in the flesh. The model and the copy are perfect; she is all that was foreseen, planned and dreamed. The melody of her life is played just as it was written. That is why through the centuries, Christian liturgy has applied to her the words of the Book of Proverbs (Proverbs 8:22-36). Because she is what God wanted us all to be, she speaks of herself as the Eternal Blueprint in the Mind of God, the one whom He loved before she was a creature. She is even pictured as being with Him not only before Creation but at Creation. She existed in the Divine Mind as an Eternal Thought before there were any mothers. She is the Mother of mothers. But God not only thought of her in eternity; He also had her in mind at the beginning of time. When the human race fell through the solicitation of a woman, God spoke to the Devil and said, “I will establish a feud between thee and the woman, between thy offspring and hers; she is to crush thy head, while thou dost lie in wait at her heels”, (Genesis 3:15) God was saying that if it was by a woman that man fell, it would be through a woman that God would be revenged; that evil would have its progeny, its mystical body, its Satanic communistic state, but that the Woman would have a progeny too who would be Our Lord, the Son of God, the Savior of the World. His Mother was not like ours whom we accepted as something historically fixed which we could not change; He was born of a Mother whom He chose before He was born. It is the only instance in history where both the son willed the Mother and the Mother willed the Son. And this is what the Creed means: “Born of the Virgin Mary”. She was called by God as Aaron was, and Our Lord was born not just of her flesh but even by her consent. God never does anything without exceeding preparation. The two great masterpieces of God are Creation of man and re-creation or Redemption of Man. Creation was made for unfallen men; His Mystical Body for fallen men. When man willed not to have blessings except according to his lower nature, and rebelled against heaven, God planned on remaking or redeeming man. As Eden was the Paradise of Creation, Mary is the Paradise of the Incarnation, and in her as a Garden was celebrated the first nuptials of God and man. This purity we will call the Immaculate Conception. It is not the Virgin Birth, The word “immaculate” is taken from two latin words meaning “not stained” “Conception” means that at the first moment of her conception, the Blessed Mother in the womb of her mother St. Anne, in virtue of the anticipated merits of the Redemption of her Son, was preserved free from the stains of original sin. I never could see why anyone in this day and age objects to the Immaculate Conception, because all modern pagans believe that they are immaculately conceived. If there is no original sin, then everyone is immaculately conceived. Why do they shrink from allowing to Mary what they attribute to themselves? The Immaculate Conception in no way means that Mary needed no redemption. She did! Mary is the first effect of redemption, in the sense that it was applied to her at the moment of her conception and to us in another and diminished fashion only after our birth. She had this privilege not for her sake, but for His sake. She is the blueprint of love whom God loved before the world was made, she who is the Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God. The world is in tremendous turmoil right now and it is going to get more chaotic in the world as we near elections. Ever since COVID craziness, many families have been split apart. Some members have left the church, some members canceled anyone in their family that was "politically incorrect", some canceled members for not "following the science". Yes, this has happened even in Catholic families. The members of these Catholic families were obviously far from prayer and far from God to buy into the propaganda that was being fed to us. We need to pray diligently for our lost family members before it is too late and before the world gets more chaotic. We want them to have the necessary graces to endure what is ahead of us. May we not only offer prayers of reparation and pray our rosaries daily; but may we be brave enough to admonish members with love and TRUTH. Below is a link of a talk done by Fr. Tomorrow is the blessed feast day of the Purification of Mary, Candlemas, Our Lady of Good Success and the Flame of Love! May we thank God for this great day in honor of Mary- Our Good Queen and Mother! In past years for this feast day, I have taken some ideas from Marian Horvat who writes on Tradition in Action and has written on Mother Mariana and the message of Our Lady of Good Success for us! You can find her books and the full article on that website - Tradition in Action. Dr. Marian Horvat has written an article years ago on the relation of the messages of Our Lady of Good Success and the message of Fatima which we are trying to promote here on this website. Dr. Horvat writes that when God sent Prophets in the Old Testament it was to remind men to come back to the truth. In the 20th century Our Lord has sent His Mother, the Queen of Prophets: “Go to earth and destroy heresies.” The Fathers of the Church have written that Our Lady is the hammer or destroyer of all heresies. The message of Our Lady of Fatima, is a call for conversion and prayer - especially the Rosary - but also many warnings against the heresies and errors of our times. Our Lady of Good Success confirms these warnings of Fatima almost 300 years before in a very descriptive and open way to the humble Conceptionist sister in Quito, Ecuador - Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres. Marian Horvat first points out that both messages stress a need for expiatory victims We are approaching the end of the 20th century, the century of man, who has embraced every pleasure and adopted the maxim of the Revolution of the 60s: It is only forbidden to forbid. It is appropriate that the messages of Fatima and Quito speak to man of the need for expiatory victims and the love of the Cross. At the very first apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, Our Lady asks the children, “Do you want to offer yourselves to God to endure all the sufferings He may choose to send you, as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended and as a supplication for the conversion of sinners?” She asks for man’s cooperation in the divine plan, and the children agreed. Lucia said, “Yes, we do.” “Then you are going to suffer a great deal, but the grace of God will be your comfort.” Likewise, at Quito, Our Lady asked the cooperation of Mother Mariana in her great mission that connects us to our days. In 1582, when Mother Mariana was praying before the Blessed Sacrament, for the first time she was given to see the heresy, blasphemy and impurity that would inundate the world as punishment in the 20th century. Our Lady asked her: “My daughter, will you sacrifice yourself for the people of this time?” Mother Mariana replied, “I am willing.” From the violence of the shock of previewing the horrors of our day, Mother Mariana fell dead. Historic and documented evidence record that this holy religious truly died in 1582 and resurrected. Before the divine tribunal, she was given the choice to remain in heaven or return to suffer in the world. Following the example of Our Lady, who left the glories of heaven to protect her children during those difficult first years of the fledgling Church, Mother Mariana chose to return to life to expiate for the great sins of our times. It seems there is also a special message for us in the way the children of Fatima and Mother Mariana accepted and embraced the cross. The mystery of the cross is such a very special grace that Eternal Wisdom only bestows it on His best friends. “It is a greater happiness for St. Peter,” writes St. John Chrysostom, “to be imprisoned for Jesus Christ than to be with Him in His glory on Mt. Thabor; it is a greater glory for him to wear his prisoner’s chains than to bear in his hands the keys to Paradise.” Eternal Wisdom tells us that the number of fools is infinite. That is, St. Louis de Montfort says, because the number of those who do not know the value of the Cross is infinite, and they carry it despite themselves. You should thrill with joy, he says, because the cross you carry is a gift so precious, it would arouse the envy for the Blessed if they were capable of envy (Love of Eternal Wisdom, p. 97). Dr. Horvat also points out that both messages prove the Dogma of the Church that hell exists....(Yes, hell exists!) The First Secret of Fatima breaks the myth, the lie of 20th century, that hell does not exist. On July 13, 1917, Our Lady told three children, ages 10, 8, 7, to “pray, pray very much because many souls go to Hell. Then she opened Her hands and showed the three children a hole in the ground, a place. That hole, said Lucy, was like a sea of fire in which we saw the souls of human forms, men and women, burning, shouting, and crying in despair.” Mary said to the children: “You have seen Hell where sinners go when they do not repent.” During her life, Mother Mariana begged Our Lord to save the soul of an insubordinate sister in the convent. He agreed that this rebellious sister would be saved, although she would be required to remain in purgatory until the end of the world. In recompense, Mother Mariana had to suffer five years on earth the pains of hell. For five years, she suffered all the tortures of the senses reserved for souls in that terrible place and the most intense suffering of the sense of the loss of God. Dr. Horvat points out the almost complete breakdown of customs revealed in both messages During Jacinta’s stay at the orphanage of Our Lady of Miracles in Lisbon in 1920, Our Lady told her, “The sins that lead more souls to hell are the sins of the flesh.” There were other prophecies She revealed to the little girl: “Styles will come that will offend Our Lord very much. Persons who serve God should not follow the styles. The Church does not have styles. Our Lord is always the same.” She said that the sins of impurity would be so great there would be almost no virgin souls. She said that many marriages are not good, that they do not please Our Lord and are not of God. Finally, Jacinta repeated continually to Lucia and Mother Godinho: “Pray much for priests and religious. Priests should be pure, very pure!” Three centuries before, in Quito, Ecuador, on January 20, 1610, Our Lady appeared carrying a crozier in Her right hand and her Divine Son in her left arm so that, “all will know that I am merciful and understanding. Let them come to me, for I will lead them to Him.” She told Mother Mariana that in the twentieth century, “the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of customs, for Satan will reign almost completely by means of the Masonic sects. They will focus particularly on the children in order to achieve this general corruption. Woe to the children of these times.” Obviously, she is speaking of the secular humanist revolution about which so much has been written that has completely invaded the secular as well as religious institutions of our times. Our Lady continued, describing the abuses that would attack each of the Sacraments: “Woe to the children of these times because it will be difficult to receive the Sacrament of Baptism and also that of Confirmation.” She warned that the devil would assiduously try to destroy the sacrament of Confession and Holy Communion. She lamented the many sacrileges and abuses of the Blessed Sacrament that would occur. The Sacrament of Extreme Unction would be little esteemed and many people would die without receiving it, thus denied assistance they would need for that “great leap from time to Eternity.” The Sacred Sacrament of Holy Orders would be ridiculed, oppressed and despised. The demon would labor unceasingly to corrupt the clergy and would succeed with many of them. And these “depraved priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will incite the hatred of the bad Christians and the enemies of the Roman, Catholic and Apostolic Church to fall upon all priests. This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous sufferings upon the good pastors of the Church.” About the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, she said this: “Masonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the objective of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin. … The Christian spirit will rapidly decay, extinguishing the precious light of Faith until it reaches the point that there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs. In these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury that would conquer innumerable frivolous souls who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent.” This forewarning resounds loudly in the ears of those who have followed the Fatima apparitions: “In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent.” It is impossible not to ask: Why was the third secret of Fatima not revealed in 1960 according to the mandate of the Queen of Heaven? Why have the conciliar and post-conciliar popes remained silent in face of the command of Heaven? Finally, we arrived at one of the most important apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success to Mother Mariana in 1634, a year before her death. As Mother Mariana prayed before the Blessed Sacrament on Feb. 2 (the Feast of the Purification - Presentation), she saw the sanctuary light extinguish itself, leaving the altar place completely dark. This is significant in itself for those of us today who have reason to believe that, in fact, in many churches across the world the Tabernacle light has, quite literally, been extinguished. Our Lady then explained the five meanings of the Tabernacle light that had been extinguished before her eyes. The first meaning: “At the end of the 19th century and into the 20th century, various heresies will be propagated in this land. … As these heresies spread and dominate, the precious light of Faith will be extinguished in souls by the almost total corruption of customs. During this period, there will be great physical and moral calamities, both public and private.” However, there would be souls, she promised, who would remain faithful and would preserve the treasure of the Faith and virtues. But these would suffer a cruel, unspeakable and prolonged martyrdom. “In order to free men from bondage to these heresies, those chosen by My Most Holy Son to effect the restoration will need great strength of will, constancy, valor and confidence in God. To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions where all will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.” These chosen souls, who will restore the health of the Church, seem to be very similar to the apostles of the latter times predicted by St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort. The second meaning: The crisis in the clergy, both secular and regular. Many vocations would be lost, and injustice and iniquity would enter the convents and monasteries under the guise of “false charity, wreaking havoc in souls.” “The secular clergy,” She said, “will leave much to be desired because priests will become careless in their sacred duties. Lacking the divine compass, they will stray from the road traced by God for the priestly ministry, and they will become attached to wealth and riches, which they will unduly strive to obtain. “How the Church will suffer during this dark night! … [Lacking a prelate and father to guide them with paternal love, gentleness, strength, wisdom and prudence, many priests will lose their spirit, placing their souls in great danger.”] The third meaning: Impurity will permeate the atmosphere and there will almost no virgin souls in the world. I have already mentioned this prophecy, so will continue on to the next. The fourth meaning: “Masonic sects, having infiltrated all the social classes, would subtly introduce its teaching into domestic ambiences in order to corrupt the children,” she warned. It is the invasion of the secular humanism of Freemasonry and the errors of Communism. But Our Lady promised that there would be, “religious communities and individuals who would labor with valor and disinterested zeal for the salvation of souls. Against them, the impious would rage cruel wars.” The fifth meaning is quite interesting: Our Lady said, “The fifth reason that the lamp was extinguished is due to the laxity and the negligence of those who possess great wealth who will indifferently stand by and witness the Church being oppressed, virtue being persecuted, and the triumph of the demon, without piously employing their riches for the destruction of this evil and the restoration of the Faith.” The Queen of Heaven also noted that this quenching of the Tabernacle light was also due to the indifference of the people in allowing the Name of God to be gradually extinguished and in adhering to the spirit of evil, freely delivering themselves to the vices and passions. Fatima and Quito: Messages that confirm each other It seems to me an opportune moment for this story of Our Lady of Good Success and Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres to become better known to the English-speaking public. For there, just as she did at Fatima, she asked for prayer and sacrifice to make amends for the many outrages and abuses of this unhappy century. But also, at Quito, just as She did at Fatima, she assures us of her fortunate intervention and triumph. For the message of Our Lady of Good Success is, like that of Our Lady at Fatima, a message of great hope. She promised a band of stalwart souls filled with confidence who would help to effect the happy Restoration. She promised her intercession at the very moment when the evil will appear triumphant and when the authority abuses her power. This would mark, as She said, “the arrival of my hour, when, in a marvelous way, I will dethrone the proud and accursed Satan, trampling him under my feet and fettering him in the infernal abyss.” These words harmonize perfectly with the message of hope Our Lady delivered to the three children at Fatima in 1917: “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” To become worthy of the success, the victory that Our Lady predicted, we need a supernatural confidence. We need to be entirely convinced of that victory - the promise of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917: “In the End My immaculate Heart will Triumph.” We need to be completely convinced of the happy restoration: the words of Our Lady at Quito in 1634: “To test this faith and confidence of the just, there will be occasions where all will seem to be lost and paralyzed. This, then, will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.” HOLY MOTHER MARY - PRAY FOR US SINNERS NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH! IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY, PLEASE SEND FORTH THE GRACES OF YOUR FLAME OF LOVE TO ALL OF MANKIND! |
