Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

Blessed Feast Day to all!!  Today we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. As Carmelites to the charism found on this website, we honor the wishes made known to us at Fatima. We pray the prayers of Reparation, we offer our First Saturdays, we pray the Rosary and wear our Brown Scapular in order for the Reign of Her Immaculate Heart to come to all souls so that She may bring Jesus to all of them.

At Fatima, Our Lady asked the children to pray the Rosary each day for world peace and since Lucia claims that the Rosary and the Scapular are inseparable...we will mention both here in this article. the use of both of these sacramentals is a form of humility which Mary is our example. In today's world, humility is lacking and we need it to combat the pride of Satan.

With the Rosary, our Lady conquered heresies, such as the Albigensian heresy, rampant at the time when Mary appeared to St. Dominic.  At Lepanto in 1571, the Rosary helped in the greatest naval battle of history to date, the odds of the Catholic side winning were slim.

Praying the Rosary forces us to humbly acknowledge that God continues to use our Blessed Mother to destroy the forces of the devil, and yes, the evil one himself. It is no wonder that Mary said to Lucy at Fatima, "Only Our Lady of the Rosary can help you."

Wearing the Brown Scapular has always been associated with Consecration to Our Lady, which involves an undying commitment to spiritual and physical chastity. The Carmelite Scapular is a pledge of a pure conscience in the service of the Queen of Heaven, and a reminder of one's bodily commitment to purity whenever he or she should be "tested" When we undergo temptation, whether or not we give in, it is there as a reminder of our duty to keep us from failing in the expectations of Our Lord and Our Lady for us. If per chance we fail, it helps us to get up immediately, make an act of contrition and re-consecrate ourselves to Jesus and Mary.

The Rosary and the Brown Scapular are gifts from Heaven to combat enemies of the soul.  At Fatima, our Lady said that we were to stop sinning and repent and turn back to God as God was already too much offended.  We will all one day know how many souls were saved from the fires of Hell because persons humbly accepted Mary's gifts and made use of them.

At the miracle of the sun at Fatima on Oct. 13th, Our Lady appeared as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with a Brown Scapular in hand and Sr. Lucia claimed that this meant that Our Lady wanted all to wear it and that the Rosary and the Scapular are inseparable.
May we be faithful to the Rosary and to the Scapular in order to give glory to God, be obedient to Our Mother Mary and to win souls for Heaven!.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us!
All ye Carmelite saints, pray for us!
