Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/Brown Scapular

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

Tomorrow is the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Happy Feast day! Today, I want to bring to the attention of all those who seek to live as Carmelites, that bringing the story of Carmel and its Brown Scapular to ALL Catholics is greatly needed! Do we want to show our love and thanksgiving to Our Lady? Under the patronage of St. Elijah, Our Holy Founder and St. Simon Stock, may we beg their intercession to be true disciples of Our Lady of Mt.  Carmel and share Her Brown Scapular.
 
Can we think of all that is going on today and still refuse to take the Brown Scapular message to ALL Catholics? Can we believe that the Scapular carries a Promise of salvation and yet fail to promote the Scapular Confraternity? Consider the millions of good Catholics who could enrich their lives, enhance their usefulness to God, by seeking a closer relationship with Mary through affiliating themselves with Mary’s Order; you and I must bring them the story of Carmel so that they will draw closer to Jesus…Her Son.
 
Life’s purpose is to know God, to love God and to serve God in this life in order to enjoy eternal happiness with Him in the next. If you and I become messengers of this message; we are making use of a wonderful privilege. “It is as though Mary had opened the Treasury of Heaven to her Carmelites and told us to become her agents in bringing souls to Heaven.” What a responsibility…are we up to it?
 
Mary, clothed in the habit of Carmel, appeared at Fatima in 1917, at which time she delivered a message which was to be spread throughout the world. Mary asked that men do penance and stop offending God. Keep in mind that this request was made in our day; it was made to us. To the world in which we live. What has our Catholic Church done about Mary’s message? We have gone on offending God as God has never before been offended. Never before has there been the wholesale slaughter of men, women and children as there has been in our world. Never before has there been the widespread hatred of one toward another. Never before has there been a comparable denial of the dignity of man. Never before has there existed an atmosphere so conducive to evil as that brought about by our movies, our press, our radio, our internet. Our world from 1917 to 2023 is a portrait of horrific godlessness.
Do we believe that Mary is pleased with us? What have we done about Mary’s message?  Are we living as though we believed that Our Lady appeared at Fatima with a message for the world that if heeded, would bring peace to the world?
 
The world has not yet heeded the message of Fatima. We must become Mary’s voice in the world. The message is so important that the future of our civilization, our liberties, depends upon its acceptance. When a sufficient number offer their sacrifices and fulfill our Lady’s requests, Mary has promised the dawning of a better world, an era of peace and security for mankind.

Go from parish to parish with like-minded lovers of Truth and talk to the pastors about sharing this message....at least help him to understand the enrollment of the Brown Scapular at his First Communion Sacrament...a great start that has gone by the wayside. May we pray to Our Lady to guide us and the Holy Spirit to fortify us with the necessary graces of fortitude and knowledge.
 
Offer the First Saturdays.
Offer Prayers to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus (Reparation Prayers of Fatima)
Pray the Rosary Daily.
Enroll in the Brown Scapular (prayers below) and live in union with Jesus and Mary.
Consecrate yourselves and families to the Immaculate Heart.
Offer your daily duty and prayers.
