Greetings in Jesus and Mary.... Today is the day before the feast day of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Reminder, today is a fast day which is also a Friday! This year Our Lady's feast day falls on a Saturday which is a great blessing! God is good. There is so much to pray for and I try to balance talking about the trouble in the world with the trouble in the Church. Sad to say, both are escalating out of control. We know we are heading toward a chastisement as warned in Scripture and in prophecy. We need to be vigilant and we need to be obedient and always faithful to God and our dear Blessed Mother who was given to us by God to help us on this journey to Heaven. Below, I am copying an article recently found on Tradition in Action written by Atila Sinke Guimarães who is cofounder of that website. I love his writings and his insight. He is truly an educated, spiritual man with a heart for Tradition. I felt this article is needed today as we enter into some of the worst days in Church history by way of apostasy. This article gives clarity and we can only go forward with faith, hope and love in an Almighty God Who watches over His own. I hope you have a great day of reparation today and that this article will be light to the times we are living in. More coming tomorrow for Our Lady's Feast day. God bless all of you! Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us! Below taken from Tradition In Action, June 2022.........by Atila Sinke Guimarães THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION - There are discussions on the meaning of this expression – the abomination of desolation – used by the Prophet Daniel in this passage: “And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fall: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation: and the desolation shall continue even to the consummation.” (Dan 9:27). As far as I could verify, there are various interpretations normally accepted in the Church. One, the most frequent, is that the abomination of desolation is the presence of pagan idols in the Temple, which was dedicated to the glorification of the one True God. Another is that it refers to the Antichrist who will be in the Temple of God and profane it with his arrogance and blasphemies. Yet another – defended by the great commentator Fr. Cornelius a Lapide as the more appropriate – sees the realization of the predicted abomination in the destruction of the Temple by the Roman army of Titus. In that destruction Titus' soldiers smashed the Zelot insurrection of the Jews, killing them even inside the Temple, which later they would loot and burn to the ground. Regarding the first interpretation: In the Old Testament, it happened that after the time of Daniel's prophecy, a tyrant put an end to the real sacrifice in the Temple and replaced it with ceremonies to honor the pagan idols. Antiochus IV, indeed, did this and greatly profaned the Temple. The 2nd Book of Maccabaeus describes it eloquently: "But not long after the king sent a certain old man of Antioch, to compel the Jews to depart from the laws of their fathers and of God: And to defile the temple that was in Jerusalem, and to call it the temple of Jupiter Olympius: and that in Gazarim of Jupiter Hospitalis, according as they were that inhabited the place. "And very bad was this invasion of evils and grievous to all. For the temple was full of the riot and revelings of the Gentiles: and of men lying with lewd women. And women thrust themselves of their accord into the holy places, and brought in things that were not lawful. The altar also was filled with unlawful things, which were forbidden by the laws." (II Mac 6:1-5) We see that there are four elements that characterize this abomination:
Our Lord used the same expression when He told His Disciples the symptoms that would precede the end of the world. These were His words: "When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand." (Mt 24: 15) The ensemble of this Chapter 24 speaks of the symptoms that precede the establishment of this abomination. Specifically, they are:
After Our Lord gave the warning quoted above, He spoke of a great chastisement, comparing it with the Deluge and the End of the World. The comparison is useful to express the magnitude of the chastisement. However it is not clear whether He was speaking about the final days of the world or on a time before that would not be the end. In fact, before mentioning the abomination, He said: "But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come." (Mt 24:13-14) So, the general order should be:
The phrase "he that readeth let him understand" tells us that He was veiling something when He described the Second Coming. I suggest that He was veiling the Great Apostasy we have been witnessing in these last 50 years; he was also veiling the incomprehensible reality that this apostasy was directed by the six Conciliar Popes. In other words, I am proposing that the abomination of desolation is the presence of these Popes in the Holy Place: i.e., the Holy See and the Cathedra of Peter. To justify my suggestion, let me only consider what happened in this ending month of June, which should be dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and instead was dedicated to "gay pride." The papal glorification of this scandalous homosexual festival was made on June 22, 2022, when Pope Francis received a delegation of six "transgenders" from different countries at a public audience on St. Peter's Square. To be a secret homosexual is an abomination because it is to have the vice of sinning against nature. To publicly proclaim oneself a homosexual is still a graver scandal because it is a mockery of public morality, Natural Law and Catholic Morals. To make a surgery to castrate oneself and insert plastic breasts in one's chest - or the equivalent ablation of breasts and insertion of a plastic male genital for a woman - is a monstrosity because it is the apex of indecency added to a public proclamation of revolt against the nature God gave each one. I believe that this monstrosity of "changing sexes" is inspired by and closely linked to Satanism. Top, Francis greets a ‘transgender’; bottom, he honors Pachamama in front of the Altar of the Confession Now, a Pope is supposedly the Vicar of Christ and should represent His Moral Law. Instead, Pope Francis publicly received that group of "transgenders" in order to give those persons an official status before the Church and encourage them to disseminate their demonic examples and convictions. So, I suggest that this action of Francis characterizes the abomination of desolation in the Holy Place. Someone could ask: Why do you single out this particular action when we have seen Bergoglio doing so many other scandalous things? It is true. There are a multitude of other things done by the Conciliar Popes – and by Francis in particular – that show us that the ensemble of the post-conciliar era can be defined as the abomination of desolation in the Holy Place. Thus, I am not suggesting that the public reception of these "transgenders" is the only thing that characterizes the abomination, but it is, along with the enthroning of the Pachamama at the Vatican (here and here), and the official prohibition of the Tridentine Mass the three most spectacular ones. They bring to mind the descriptions in the Book of the Maccabaeus and the Gospel where Our Lord spoke of the abomination. Therefore, I am proposing that this can be the interpretation of those veiled words of Our Lord: "He that readeth let him understand."
