The Feast of the Immaculate Conception/The Immaculate Heart of Mary

Greetings in Jesus and Mary...

Tomorrow is the First Saturday of December, Monday is Dec. 8th, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, and also within this month (Dec. 10th) marks the 100th anniversary of when Sr. Lucia received the message for all of us to practice the Five First Saturdays in reparation to Her Immaculate Heart.

How very very sad that this message has been thwarted for the 100 years that it has existed. How amazing the world would look if our Church leaders had asked all of us to offer the Five First Saturdays...not just once but always. I challenge all priests who are in charge of a parish to start if they have not already done so...to offer the Five First Saturdays along with time for confessions, Rosary and time to meditate before the Blessed Sacrament as Our Blessed Mother had asked.

In a huge way, Fatima is the message of devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In the first apparition of Our Lady, She had asked for reparation for all the blasphemies and offences against Her Immaculate Heart. At the second apparition, Our Lady told Sr. Lucia, "You must remain longer on earth. Jesus wishes to use you in making me known and loved. He wishes to spread in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace this devotion. Their souls will be loved by God with a love of predilection, like flowers placed by Me before His throne!" When Lucia appeared sad about being left here on earth longer than Francesco and Jacinta, Our Lady said to her, "I shall never abandon you, My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God."

In the third apparition....Our Lady showed the three children hell and said this...." You have just seen hell where poor sinners go. To save them, the Lord wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace.  The war is coming to an end.. But if men do not cease offending the Lord, a worse war will begin in the reign of Pope Pius XI." She added....."I shall ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, as well as communion of reparation on the first Saturday of the month. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. Otherwise, Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and several nations will be annihilated.

The above news is very grim and is one of the reasons why Rome has held it from the Church .....but the consoling words of Our Lady are..."My Immaculate Heart will finally triumph. Russia will be converted and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world; Portugal will keep the faith."

How amazing the world would look if we kept to what Our Lady had asked of us and took Her message seriously. Rome does not want doom and gloom (nor anyone else). If we keep our heads in the sand and ignore the sins around us maybe it will all go away. This thinking is unbelievable....we are on the brink of a major chastisement because we have not fulfilled the requests of Our Good Mother and Queen Who is only trying to help us avert the dangers that lie ahead.

Well, we can come to the conclusion that we are not only going to be chastised for sin and disobedience but also we have learned a beautiful message.... the message of Fatima (and Lourdes) reveal that Our Lady WAS conceived Immaculate....free from all sin....free from the bondage of Satan.....free to be truly united to the Will of God at all times. We can be certain of this!

May we practice the Five First Saturday in reparation of the sins commited against Her Immaculate Heart not only committed in the world but now in Rome itself (which should alarm all of us that a chastisement is close at hand!) We still have time....not sure how much but each day is a blessing and we can offer the reparation prayers taught at Fatima daily and we can honor Our Mother's Immaculate Heart and beg Her to show us the way to Her Son's Most Sacred Heart!

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

Advent, Novena for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, St. Andrew Prayer for Christmas

11/29/2025

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

Today (or tomorrow) begins a Novena to Our Lady for Her Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th. (posted below) We are also in the Novena given to us by Cardinal Burke for a nine week Novena before the anniversary of the Five First Saturdays, December 10, 2025.(posted below) Also, tomorrow, Nov. 30th, starts the St. Andrew Prayer for those who keep this tradition to make Advent holy with this beautiful prayer. (posted below). Tomorrow also is the first day of Advent. I am going to repeat some words of Archbishop Fulton Sheen to help us with all of these prayers as we begin to prepare our hearts for Christmas with Our Lady.

Below are some paraphrased thoughts taken from the writings of Bishop Sheen to help us understand God's Love and to help motivate us to prayer.....

“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life”. John 3:16 “Let us therefore love God, because God first hath loved us.” 1 John 4:19.  Bishop Sheen claims that there are only two philosophies of life: one, the pagan, the other, the Judaic-Christian. He says that the pagan philosophy is one where man tries to climb to God. In the Judaic-Christian philosophy God descends to man: first by revelation to the prophets for the Jews, and finally in the flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Love originates not in our showing it to God, but in His showing His Love for us. God loved us first. God’s love for us is not affirmed because we seek Him or reach out to Him, and He responds to us. Bishop Sheen says that God’s love exists not on account of our character but on account of His. Our highest experience is to be responsive – we are not the initiators. It is only because we are loved by Him that we are given the grace to love Him back.
As one begins to seek God and to become more knowledgeable of Him and begins to grow in virtue, it SEEMS as if God begins then to love him. This is only because one is now, for the first time, sensitive to His Love. We are called to seek Him and to remove the barriers that keep the love of God from shining in our souls. Bishop Sheen uses the analogy of a blind man who may have just recovered his sight and comes to believe that the sun just started shining in the heavens  - not realizing that all the while he was blind – the sun shone. He just couldn’t see it before. Also, when a child grows older, he may begin to realize the love of his parents. He witnesses their daily love and suddenly realizes it and begins to understand that his parents love him. The truth is - that the parents loved him since his gestation. All of us must know that the love of God for us began long before we ever become aware of it.

The human heart has many things which it likes to cling to but none can satisfy it like the love of God. This Advent let us meditate on God’s love for us poor miserable creatures. Let us think of the poverty He embraced so that the poor could not say He does not know what it is to be homeless. Let us think of His lowliness so that one could not say that He does not know what it is to be despised. Let us think of His meekness so that we might learn how to be childlike. He took on every form of humiliation of which was capable in order to show men how to struggle through the darkness into the light. Let us think of how God condescended from Heaven to be a little baby in a manger in order to show us the Way and to save us from our sins.

His presence in the crib is a witness of our need for Him. He would not have needed to come if all was well here on earth. He came because of His love for us! May we meditate on His love and seek to give Him our hearts in return for so great a love. May we all come to know that when we go to prayer – He first invited us! He is there waiting for our love in return for His!

May we have an Advent filled with love and gratitude for a loving Father who gave His only begotten Son so that we may have Life with Him here and for all eternity in Heaven. May we also be filled with gratitude for all that our good Queen and Mother has done for us and continues to do for us.

Through these Novenas to Our Lady, may we ask Her to show us the way to Her Son. May She guide our every step so that we can become the saints that God wants us to be for Him. Everything that Mary is ..... is in accordance to the Will of God. She cooperates and has cooperated with God perfectly and therefore is a Co-Redemptrix...without Her fiat.....the Incarnation would not have happened. But God in His infinite wisdom created Her Immaculate, spotless and full of grace and therefore knew that She would fulfill His Will perfectly. May we turn to her for graces to live a life in imitation of Her as best we can....as Her children.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

Mediatrix of All Graces and Co-Redemptrix, pray for us!
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

St. John of the Cross--Denial of Self

Greetings in Jesus and Mary...

Tomorrow, Nov. 24th is the feast of St. John of the Cross. I would like to begin by asking you to please kindly say a prayer for my daughter Veronica whose birthday is on this feast day, that she may return to the Catholic Church. I wholeheartedly thank you for this! May St. John pray for her to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

St. John of the Cross throughout all of his writings continually had the idea of transforming union as his final goal.....and we should have this goal in all of our pursuits as well. We are here a short time on this earth and God has given us all that we need to seek Him (including His Mother Who helps us in the best way). There are very little excuses to put this off while we pursue earthly delights when, in reality, they  are fleeting compared to Heavenly delights which will last for all of eternity.

(Digression) I just got up to put another log in our woodburner and thought about the great analogy that St. John used of the transformed log in the fire. I pick up solid log pieces all day long to feed the woodburning stove......they start out in one state and then each gets transformed slowly in the fire....the wood catches fire and slowly it burns until it becomes a glowing log that is completely consumed by the fire. It seems miraculous. The miraculous fire of God's love will consume us if we accept His Divine Will and deny our own self-will. We must ask Our Lady to plunge ourselves into His Most Sacred Heart which is a Burning Furnace of LOVE!

What keeps one from giving oneself completely to God for this transformation?Contrary to what the world thinks, attachments are killjoys. The worldly man and woman work hard at multiplying experiences and accumulating possessions all in  pursuit of contentment. Do not these same people see that there has been a continual stream of discontentment....that this only feeds one to want more and more in search of satiating that hunger for deep happiness .....which can only come from God. No matter how intense wordly delights may be, they inevitably leave in their wake a disillusionment. Where one does find genuine joy is in the heart and on the lips of those who have generously given up all to have Christ. Saints are proofs that the world has things upside down and all wrong. "The more a person rejoices over something outside God," notes St. John, "the less intense will be his joy in God." In proportion as one is stripped of all self-centered seeking, so the capacity for deep, calm, enduring delight is heightened. St. Paul told the Philippians to "rejoice in the Lord always." Genuine joy, lasting joy is impossible outside of God.

St. John says, "Until a person is purified of his clingings, he will not be equipped to possess God, neither here below through the pure transformation of love, nor in heaven through the beatific vision."

There is so much to write on St. John's teachings but I will add this ....St. John speaks of voluntary desires and not "natural ones" because the natural ones offer little or no hindrance to advanced prayer as long as the will does not intervene with a selfish clinging. By natural desires, the saint has in mind, for example, a felt need for water when thirsty, food when hungry, rest when fatigued. There is no necessary disorder in experiencing these needs. He does condemn "habitual appetites" that are repeated and willed clingings to things less than God for their own sake. An occasional slip is not a habitual inclination. We must meet our needs without excess. In today's world, this is hard because our culture teaches us how to pamper our every whim and to do otherwise receives ridicule....unless done discreetly.

We must ask Our Lady who is perfect to help us in this life to make good choices and to surrender our own will and beg Her to show us God's Will. May She pray for us to have the necessary graces and virtues to live a life of prayer, reparation and self denial as She has lived.

It is good to read the works of St. John of the Cross to understand what to ask for but to rely on ourselves alone to accomplish this is foolish. Surrendering our will and Praying are needed.... prayer especially to Our Lady will help us achieve this in a secure way.

Below is a video of Fr. Ripperger on the Crisis in the Church and it covers the need for sacrifice. May we pray to St. John of the Cross to embrace our cross and to Our Lady for the necessary graces to be truly mortified, to make sacrifices, to pray, to make reparation and to ultimately love God above all things.

Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady - November 21st

Greetings in Jesus and Mary......

Happy Feast Day! Today we celebrate the day that Mary was presented in the Temple by St. Anne and St. Joachim. She was consecrated to the service of God in the Temple at a very early age.

A bit about the feast day itself. Mary, at the age of three, in the presence of her mother, St. Anne and father, St. Joachim, presented Herself in the temple to God. She gave Herself entirely to Him. She thought only of loving and pleasing Him by being perfectly united to His Holy Will. Can you imagine if everyone God created did the exact same thing – what a world we would be living in?  Of course, we do have throughout all of history many saints who have come close. We have saints who at a young age gave themselves to God in a quick and sure way, knowing that God is everything and that nothing else matters. We also have saints who did not figure it out until much later. Look at St. Augustine who lived a life of leisure until later in life when he made the statement: “Our hearts are restless until they rest in you, O God!” How many of us each day try to find our Heaven on earth without God even though we know – God can only give us this peace and love that we are all searching for.

As for ourselves, we may rationalize our actions by stating, “Oh, he was a saint and I am not.” Or “Of course Our Lady did that – She had no sin on Her soul!” The truth of the matter is, God has given us everything we need to be saints. His Sacred Heart has all the treasures held within it that are necessary to make ALL OF SAINTS!  His Heart is known as the burning Furnace of Charity! Our Lord has come to many saints telling them to ask Him for the graces that no one else asks for because He is hungering to give them to us. St. Francis De Sales says that we are not saints because we do not want to be saints. Once a person has desired to be a saint and has prayed for the graces to be that saint, God answers this prayer with the condition that we persevere in prayer. Our Lady is eager to answer as well. There is a warning with this prayer though. In order to fill your soul with these graces, there must be room. If you do not make room yourself by taking the weeds from the garden of your soul, then Our Lady will have to pluck them out for you. She will allow trials to come your way in order to purify the soul in answer to your prayer. When the trials come, know that if we surrender to God’s Will and accept this purification, the room will be made for grace and virtue to flourish. If we resist and resist, then the process will be slow until we learn to surrender like a child in the arms of a tender Mother who knows what is best for that child.

What has been just described is what our Consecration to the Immaculate Heart can do for us. Being the Mother of Jesus, She has a special right to all the gifts of Her Son. The Church teaches that She is the Mother of all Graces. She distributes them to Her children from the Heart of Her Divine Son.

Therefore, let us give ourselves to Our Mother so that She may teach us the sure way of surrender to the Will of the Father. Let us ask Her to teach us how to give of ourselves completely to God in love and in service. Let us meditate on the greatness of Mary’s love and service during the years She spent in the Temple always increasing day by day in Her resplendent virtues and graces.

As Mary presented and offered Herself to God in the temple with promptitude and without reserve, so let us also present ourselves this day to Mary without delay and without reserve; and let us ask Her to offer us to God, who will not reject us when He sees us presented by the hands of our good Queen and Mother, who is the living temple of the Holy Ghost, the delight of Her Lord and the chosen Mother of the Eternal Word.

May we not forget to offer prayers of thanksgiving to our Eternal Father for this great Mother and Queen!

Thank you Eternal Father, Son and Holy Ghost for the great gift of our Queen and Mother! And thank you Holy Mother for giving yourself wholly to God for His glory and our salvation. We love you!

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

WOW ---- I just stumbled upon this on YouTube. I never heard of it coming even though it took over a year to create and erect in Crato, Brazil on November 13th....just three days ago. This is great news and how we need great news. How is Pope Leo going to take to this? Rome has downplayed Fatima since the start. Luckily, we had amazing Popes in the day when She first came to Portugal. This is an approved visit of Our Lady.....not sure it would be approved today.....too much doom and gloom....but there is also great instruction, love and hope for a world that has lost the sight of God. Our good and holy Queen Mother only wants to draw us back to Her Son and warn us of what could happen if we do not turn back to Him.

Below is a little info from The National Catholic Register about this event but I am going to be searching for more articles. The full article is linked below as well as a video of the event. BRAVO BRAZIL!!!!

"But how did a Marian devotion that originates in Portugal come to flourish in this South American city? It all began exactly 72 years ago, on Nov. 13, 1953, when Crato received for the first time the visit of the Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

The Pilgrim statue, sent by the Sanctuary of Fatima in Portugal, was taken to the main square of the city of Crato, drawing the faithful, authorities and the general population. And there are reports of favors after the statue’s passage through the streets. At the end of that month, the Crato cathedral received as a gift a replica of Our Lady’s statue that is housed in Fatima’s Chapel of the Apparitions, marking the site of the 1917 Marian apparition to the three Portuguese shepherd children.

Consequently, devotion to Our Lady of Fatima has flourished in the region. New parishes were created under this Marian title, and several public facilities in the city, such as daycare centers, schools, streets and neighborhoods, began to bear Our Lady’s name.

More recently, in 2014, a 147-foot-high sculpture of Our Lady of Fatima was inaugurated there, at the time the largest in Brazil. But criticism mounted — over its questionable beauty and its departure from the original image. From there, a desire arose to replace the existing sculpture and restructure the surrounding space to foster a greater experience of Marian spirituality.

Father Arileudo Machado, the monument’s administrator, began the search for the right artist for this mission and found Ranilson Viana, a young Brazilian sculptor whose works are known for their detailed realism and ability to evoke emotions.
With an impressive height of 177 feet (the equivalent of a 15-story building), the new sculpture rises in the middle of an extensive urban plain — making visible the strong Marian devotion of the region’s inhabitants, inscribing faith in the landscape itself."
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us....and pray that all nations may turn to you in prayer and obtain peace for a world grown cold with sin and hate instead of sacrifice and love.

Feast of All Carmelite Saints

Today is November 13th and a fast day before the feast day which is tomorrow, November 14th, when we celebrate All Carmelite Saints Day!

The many Carmelite saints are an inspiration to many, especially to those in the Carmelite communities. What they had in common is that, hidden in Christ, they climbed Mount Carmel, the Mountain of the Lord, and became transformed in Christ … and holy in the process.  Besides being set apart for God, they shared a love for the Church and for the Carmelite order, a love for our Blessed Mother, the Queen of Carmel, and a deep understanding and appreciation for the Cross as both the instrument of our salvation and the manifestation of God’s merciful love for us. They sought to emulate this humble love that is patient and forgetful of self, a love which bears all things for the sake of the other, a love watered by self-denial and prayer. Thus, they began, in their lifetimes, to experience heaven on earth, an eternity begun now and in progress!

We too are called to be saints....all of us are. But it is so easy to feel overwhelmed in this day of trials and tribulations. It is understandable but God's grace is there if we just ask for it. We must keep going forward and continue our daily duty and our daily prayer in the state of grace by frequenting the Sacraments.

Let us keep our prayers of Reparation each day, our daily Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our rosary, our Masses if they are something we can do daily. Let us keep the zeal and offer to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary all that we are. May we remain in God's grace and continue to offer our love each day to all those we come in contact with in order to become Christ's light in a very dark world.

May we pray to the Carmelite Saints today and always and ask Our Lady, Queen and Mother of Carmel to pray for us as we journey closer to Her Son each day!

Our Lady, Queen and Mother of Carmel, pray for us.
Holy Carmelite Saints, pray for us.

Greetings in Jesus and Mary...

Well, a few days have passed since we were given the news from Rome of them dethroning Our Queen. Since then, I have been reading and watching podcasts related to this issue. Below are two videos just posted. One by Michael Matt who did an excellent job of the culprits perpetrating these evils in the Church and in the world in order for a One World Government to emerge and with it -- a One World Religion (devoid of God and full of man and nature). The other video is related to a brave Order defending Our Lady!

Are you dumbfounded that the Holy Roman Catholic Church is complicit in accomplishing a One World Religion? I have been writng articles since 2017 and many have stated the errors of Papa Bergoglio's pontificate and how Freemasonic it has been. Pope St. Pius X wrote against Modernism which is the synthesis of ALL HERESIES. Below is a link where you will find the Alta Vendita which is the Freemasonic blueprint to destroy the Catholic Church because it is the one founded by Jesus Christ! (You will also find more reasons to go to the Latin Mass on that page.)

I feel called to share with all of you the words given by Our Lord and Our Lady to Mother Mary Agreda in the City of God about the plans of Lucifer himself at the time of his rebellion but it would take up too much space so I wrote those words in a Word Document that you can access in a link below to read.....please read it and you will suddenly know....absolutely know that we are AT WAR (and all of this will make sense to you....you will no longer be asking why?)

God is good and has appointed Our Blessed Mother to crush his head and She has given us the means to protect ourselves under Her Mantle.....wear your Brown Scapular, pray your Rosary and frequent the Latin Mass as much as you can. The Fatima message is about all of this. The Fatima message is very Eucharistic and calls for Eucharistic Reparation (link below). Mary's humility will crush Lucifer's pride!

In Michael Matt's video below, he talks about the promises made at our Baptism and at Confirmation. He failed to mention and I wish to point out that these two Sacraments (as well as everything else) have been greatly disfigured since the Second Vatican Council. The new rite of Baptism is void of the exorcisms that  the old rite has. Also, the promises are made by the Godparents and Parents but not for the child...leaving the child to be free to walk away from the Catholic Faith in the future which many are doing. In Confirmation, the words..."Soldier of Christ" have been buried. They are gone! We are "initiated into the community" but we are not soldiers. ( I may search for the details to this and write on this in the future.)

Below are the links...we are called to be brave.....do not give up the fight....BE SOLID TRADITIONAL CATHOLICS......Be the SMALL REMNANT and do not follow the deceptions of Lucifer who wants the destruction OF ALL THAT IS GOOD....OF ALL THAT IS GOD'S.

We know in the end who wins! In the meantime, we need to protect our own soul and fight and pray and repair for MORE SOULS to fill Heaven in order to console the Hearts of Jesus and Mary! May we be true Soldiers of Jesus Christ and fight the good fight!

Mary, Queen and Mediatrix of all Graces, pray for us and protect us!

Greetings in Jesus and Mary.....

Well, It is late in the day but I just sat down to check the news on what has happened in the Church. It seems a new document has come from the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith today.....Mater Populi Fidelis. This does not hold Tradition. Of course, we know that for a number of years now there have been apostates holding high places in Rome. Reparation is always and has been needed for a few decades. We can never offer enough prayer and sacrifice for what is unfolding today. In order to find strength, please always unite your heart to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary when these things emerge. We will continue to see them dismantle more and more until God intervenes. May we pray for the Reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary so that we may experience a renewal in the Church and an era of peace. Pray for these apostates in Rome and throughout the world....that they may convert...at least may God be merciful at their Judgements. May we always pray for love, peace and TRUTH to prevail!

I am not going to summarize this new document. You can read below what Rorate Caeli has stated and listen to Anthony Stine. They have done a great job explaining. The sad part is that it was released today, Nov. 4th but the document (below) was signed by Pope Leo on October 7, 2025.....they always throw these insults at the Church on Her Feast Days.....Reparation, reparation, reparation.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!

Holy Souls in Purgatory - The Love Our Lady Has for These Souls

11/3/2025

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

Today we remember and pray particularly for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. It is best to go to Mass (up to 3) to pray for these souls. In 1915, Pope Benedict XV permitted priests to celebrate three Masses on All Souls Day, primarily connected to the overwhelmingly amount of soldiers who were dying during World War I. Priests will often celebrate the first Mass for a specific intention, the second for all the faithful departed and the last for the intentions of the Holy Father.

The Church provides a special indulgence during the first week of November.
An indulgence, applicable only to the souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray for the departed in November. The indulgence is plenary each day from the 1st to the 8th of November; on other days of the year it is partial.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines an indulgence as “a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven” (CCC 1471).

Our Blessed Mother has a special place for these souls in Purgatory....especially those who have had a special devotion to Her. As stated in my last article, the Sabbatine Privilege is a great gift of God through Our Lady to those who have performed the required conditions. For those who may have had a special devotion to Her but not fulfilled those conditions....She, as a good and loving Mother,  still showers favors upon that soul.

It is stated by many saints who have had the privilege to understand or see Purgatory that Our Lady Herself (as well as St. Michael) visit Purgatory to either console the souls or to have them released when their particular time is over. There are special days of the year that She and St. Michael come to release a number of these souls....on all Her Feast Days...especially the Feast of the Assumption and Christmas. How great the joy must be for the souls to feel Her presence when She is there and to give their hopes a more joyful boost as they are being purified for Heaven.

The Queen of Heaven desires that Her children on earth help Her to relieve these souls. In imitation of Our Good Mother, we should be daily offering little aspirations and prayers of love for them....not only today but throughout our lives. Our prayers offered to Our Lady will be multiplied by these souls for us in thanksgiving. We can comfort Our Sorrowful Mother to relieve these souls as Her good children should ..... not only to please the Hearts of Jesus and Mary but to make many friends from Purgatory who will in turn pray for us from Heaven once there. (It is stated in the Unpublished Manuscript of Purgatory that "those who have forgotten the holy souls are forgotten in their turn....this is only just.")

Also, in the book, An Unpublished Manuscript of Purgatory, it is written of the sister from Purgatory as stating....."I have been in the second Purgatory since the Feast of the Annunciation. On that day I saw the Blessed Virgin for the first time. In the first stage, we never saw Her. The sight of Her encourages us and this beloved Mother speaks to us of Heaven. While we see Her, our sufferings are greatly diminished."  Also stated....."God often accords more graces through the intercession of these suffering souls than through the prayers of the saints. Let the Father, when he wishes to be sure of obtaining what he wants, to ask the souls who have love Our Lady most. These, in consequence, She wishes most of all to release."

I will end with more words from the end of this little book to encourage all of us as we finish this short journey here on earth....in order to live a life of eternity in Heaven with God, Our Lady and all of His angels and saints....... These words from the book can be taken as a means to imitate the love Our Lady has for God....."Think often on the Holy Eucharist, on the hidden life of Jesus in the Tabernacle. There, above all, you will see His Love concealed, alone and waiting in vain for someone to come and say to Him, "Jesus, I love You!" By Holy Communion, Jesus will unite you to Himself most intimately....more so than He has ever done to anyone before. You will find in this Divine Food an extraordinary strength to raise you up to the height of perfection that Jesus requires of you........All things pass and pass quickly. Do not fret so much about things that will end one day. Aim at what will never end. By our holy actions united to Jesus, let us embellish our heavenly throne. Let us raise it up a few steps nearer to Him whom we shall contemplate and love throughout all of eternity. This is what should be our sole concern in life....to love and please God....to do His holy Will.....in love and imitation of our Good Queen and Mother....Mary!"

"The more a soul loves God on earth, the higher the advances in perfection, the more one will love and understand God in Heaven"....(This is true imitation of Mary!)

Our Lady of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, pray for them.
Jesus Mary, I love You, save souls!

Greetings in Jesus and Mary....

Today is Sunday, November 2nd. Since it is a Sunday, the traditional calendar puts All Souls Day on Monday, November 3rd. I have to start this post with info that yesterday's post on How To Avoid Purgatory received the most reviews I have ever received. The consensus is....We Want to Avoid Purgatory.....and that is a good thing!  Here is more good news below.....DAILY WEAR YOUR BROWN SCAPULAR, PRAY LITTLE OFFICE OF THE BVM AND/OR YOUR ROSARY AND LIVE A LIFE OF CHASTITY ACCORDING TO ONES STATE IN LIFE FOR GOD AS WELL AS ALL THE INFO STATED IN THE PREVIOUS ARTICLE!

Today, we will present information on a controversial topic.....The Sabbatine Privilege.  I am not sure why this is in dispute because here are the approvals from a few Popes. The Sabbatine Privilege was first given to us in a Document written by Pope John XXII in the year 1322. The Summary of Indulgences for the Confrantres of the Holy Scapular, confirmed on April 8, 1908 by the Sacred Congregation of Indulgences, distinctly points out that the Sabbatine Privilege of the Supreme Pontiff, John XXII, had been approved and confirmed by Clement VII (Aug. 12, 1530), Pius V (Feb 18, 1566) Gregory XIII (Sept. 18, 1577), and others by the Holy Roman Inquisition under Paul V (1613). More recently, in 1910, Pope Pius X approved a decree of the Sacred Office by which the faithful may wear the Scapular Medal in place of the cloth Scapular. The decree reads: "Having complied with certain laws in regard to the reception and the carrying of the medal all the spiritual favors and all the indulgences annexed the the Scapular could be gained, the privilege attached to the Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, called the Sabbatine Privilege, not excepted."

All of these approvals SHOULD establish solidly in the minds of every wearer of the Brown Scapular the firm belief that Our Lady of Mt. Carmel will liberate from Purgatory on the Saturday following their death all who have faithfully fulfilled the conditions required for the gaining of the Sabbatine Privilege.....NOT because they have fulfilled the conditions but because they were done with love for God and Our Lady and She in turn releases the soul from Purgatory with a tremendous love for the soul who loved Her on earth.

The Decree of Paul V, issued on Jan 20, 1613: "It is lawful for the Carmelite Fathers to preach that Christians may piously believe in the help promised to the souls of the brethren and members of the Confraternity of the BVM of Mt. Carmel that the Blessed Virgin will assist by her continual intercession, sufferages and merits, and also by her special protection, particularly on the Saturday after death (which has been consecrated to Her by the Church) the souls of the brothers and the members of the Confraternity departing this life in charity who shall have worn the habit, and shall have observed chastity according to their particular state of life, and also have recited the Little Office  (or if unable to read, have kept the fasts of the Church, and have abstained from the use of meat on Wed and Sat, unless the Feast of the Nativity of Our Divine Lord should fall on one of those days). NOTE: We have since received permission to pray the daily Rosary in lieu of praying the Little Office of the BVM. I hope and pray that this audience does both.

In order to gain the Sabbatine Privilege one must have: (1) departed this life in Charity (died in the state of sanctifying grace) (2) during life have been a member of the Scapular Confraternity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (been enrolled in the Scapular by a priest) (3) faithfully worn the Brown Scapular (particularly at the time of death (4) daily recited the Little Office of the BVM or prayed the Rosary or observed the fasts of the Church and abstained from the use of meat on Wednesdays and Saturdays (5) observed chastity according to one's state of life.

The Scapular devotion offers not only the assurance of many graces and indulgences during life, but is, according to the words of Our Lady, a 'pledge of eternal salvation'. In his letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 2,9) St. Paul says, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, what things God has prepared for them that love Him." With this in mind, who can possibly hesitate to joyfully fulfill with an intense love for God and Our Lady....all the conditions requred for the gaining of the Sabbatine Privilege in order to be with them for all eternity?

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary and Brown Scapular, pray for us!
